Detailed Reviews
Agree with last reviewer, this was a great B&B to stay in this area.
Lynda had previously emailed a lot of information and sighseeing options, which we found extremely useful.
The hospitality was exceptional, and the breakfast was delicous.. The house is charming, right on the water, with nice gardens, and a short drive to the national park.

My husband and I stayed at Pelican Bay B&B for 2 nights as a base for exploring Freycinet National Park. Graeme and Lynda were friendly, welcoming and attentive hosts who made sure we were comfortable and really well looked after (including being really well fed!). Lynda's breakfast was lovely and she was even kind enough to pack us a few snacks for our day hiking.
The house wasn't flashy, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed including free wifi. Would happily stay there again if we ever return to Coles Bay.
The house is a 10 minute drive from Coles Bay, so make sure you have a car to get around.

We had a great two night stay at Pelican Bay. I would suggest you stay at least two nights as there is so much to do in the area. Linda and Graham were great and we had a great breakfast every morning. Only wish we had more time, but we did a lot in the time we had. Would love to come back someday.

Highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the Coles Bay area. Owners and operators, Lynda and Graham are very friendly and accommodating.
We stayed in the downstairs apartment. This was a great area, it was completely private and the rooms are completely clean and fresh. The B&B is located only a few km out of the centre of Coles Bay town, and is very quiet.
The grounds are great. The property backs onto the beach of Pelican Bay, we walked along the beach and watched the sunset.
The breakfast was very tasty and fresh. This B&B is gluten-free friendly!
Fantastic B&B! 5/5, A++

This is one of our best B&B stay in our lives. Lynda and Graham are very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Lynda's b'fast is very good, especially her specialty mushrooms : )
It's a house with magnificent view, very peaceful bay in front of it, especially we are people going from a city. Lynda shared lots of information for the surroundings, helping us to make table rsvn, she's just tremendous; and I can tell Lynda and Graham are giving their hearts to host all the guests.
I had a bad experience before staying withe Lynda, the moment when I entered their garden, I felt like I've met 2 angels and a heavenly home.

I am usually too lazy to write reviews after a holiday but Pelican Bay B&B does deserve a special mention, thanks to the hospitality of the wonderful hosts Lynda and Graeme. It was the best out of the five B&B we stayed at during our 2-week trip in Tasmania in February 2012.
Pelican Bay B&B is located at a perfect spot, very close to the Freycinet National Park, and just a 5-min drive to Freycinet Marine Farm. Our room on Ground floor of the house was homey (with teddy bears!), spotlessly clean and very private. It was lovely to hear the sound of the birds in the charming garden by the bay.
Our hosts took care of us so well that we felt very much at home. The breakfast Lynda cooked always marked a perfect start of our day. I loved especially the scrambled eggs with cold smoked salmon. The fact that she would rather remove this choice from the menu when she runs out of smoked salmon from the "Tassal" shop in Hobart, than to buy from local supermarkets which is probably not as fresh, speaks it all. Lynda also did thoughtful little things like having chilled bottled water, snacks and beach towels ready for our hiking and kayaking in Freycinet. She also helped us book the penguin tour in Bicheno (30-min drive away) and saved us a lot of hassle.
I highly recommend everyone visiting Freycinet, who looks for a friendly and cozy place to stay, to choose Pelican Bay B&B. Thanks again, Lynda and Graeme, for making our stay so memorable.

Lynda and Graeme maintain a very high standard of accommodation and hospitality. This is a very comfortable place to base yourself to explore the Freycinet National Park and surrounding area. We found it especially suitable as two couples travelling together. During a very cool weather snap in May it was wonderful to return at the end of each day to such a warm and comfortable home away from home. Lynda has plenty of information and advice on points of interest and places to eat around the local area.

We really enjoyed our stay here, Lynda and Graeme were excellent hosts.
We had the downstairs bedroom for 2 nights which was of a really generous size and had everything we needed. The beach is at the bottom of the garden which is wonderful for nice walks and very nice to look at when enjoying a glass of wine from the garden :)
Lynda was really helpful with local information and gave us a map and explained things as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was cooked fresh for us and set us up very nicely each day. Tea and coffee is always available in the kitchen too.
Coles Bay is just down the road so not far to go to the National Park or places to eat for dinner.
It really felt like home from home and someone we would definitely stay again.
