There was a bit of mucking around with the checkin for Evandale Stables (especially as it takes place in the adjoining premises) but, once in our accommodation, we were very happy. It was large, with separate bedroom and sittingroom, plus a reasonable kitchen, and nicely set out. The breakfast provisions were more than adequate, and we were invited to request...

Stayed here for the second time during the Glover Prize weekend. It's very convenient for parking, walking to both pubs and village hall/markets. On our first visit two years ago, we stayed in "Isabelle" which is the central of three cottages and from memory, has a pink/green theme. This time we stayed in "Daniel" which has a burgundy/mustard theme and...

Accommodation was terrific, service attentive...great spot close to airport and very pretty village. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Delivery of breakfast the night before because of our early start was appreciated.

The service we received was very good including the breakfast items provided. The rooms are excellent with some great items for you to review. You will not be disappointed staying at this B&B. Only three rooms so it's also quite for a good nights sleep. The front shop is right there if you need items and there a corner store...

Delightfully late opening for breakfast at 9am: I must be a 'mainlander' as I was there soon after 9, was the first customer, & assisted the owner to stoke the log-fire, which moodily initially smoked the room until there was sufficient chimney draw. Standard breakfast fare, cooked in a family way. Everyone who came later knew or was related to...

A great starting or stopping point for trips in and out of Launceston - just a short drive (5 km) to the airport and 15 minutes to Lonnie. Park right outside your door. Nice and homely fit out with a double bed and a sofa bed, fresh eggs and toast etc. for breakfast self-catering. Milk in a jar :) Evandale...

This is our second visit to this accommodation. The room was well appointed and clean. The bed and shower were good. the kitchen has all that you need for preparing meals is you so desire. The breakfast hamper was adequate for two. Was disappointed in that some of the dishes were clean with lipstick on one cup and the fry...

I stayed at the Stables in October 2015 in the Sasha Cottage. As a solo traveller, passing through on my way to a conference, the cottage was perfect for my needs. It's comfortable and has a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast provisions supplied. The heating was good, the bed very comfortable but the noisy starlings outside the bathroom took a...
