My wife and I spent 3 nights at "The Shackeau" which is right on the clifftop looking down the beach at Southport. The views are exceptional especially with the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. The house has two bedrooms, one toilet/bathroom and a large lounge/eating area. The kitchen is small but well fitted out (including microwave)....

We stayed in a two bedroom cottage, it had stunning views of the bay and had beautiful finishes and furnishings. The beds for comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the spa was great too. Highly recommend it.

What a delight to arrive at the driftwood cottages with such stunning views. We stayed in the Huon Cottage which was right on the roadside. My first thought was the road noise would be disruptive, however, it was not noticeable at all and we had a comfortable and restful sleep. In the morning, opening the curtains to a magnificent view...

We had a wonderful experience, from booking to checking out. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the accommodation was excellent, very comfortable, clean, private and well catered for. The hot tub was a big hit. The accommodation is right on the water front, great views and very peaceful. Highly recommended for a recharge getaway, suitable for couples and families...

Great unit with fully equiped kitchen and laundry within a short walk to the local RSL for a drink or a meal. Good location if you are going to Ida Bay for the train ride or to Hastings for the Caves and Thermal Springs.

Dover is a lovely quiet village which provides a good base for looking around the soutwest. Walks in the vicinity were great (as was the farmgate travels whilst en route from Hobart to Dover). The cottages were clean and we had all the equipment we needed for a BBQ on the verandah.

After a busy week of sightseeing in Hobart and eating out in Salamanca Square every night, it was good to slow down the pace, and relax and reflect on the beauty of Tasmania. Our self contained unit in Dover was spacious, sparkling clean, very comfortable and overlooked the beautiful Esperence Bay. All items required for a self sufficient stay are...

The old church in Dover Tasmania, what a place you have a whole self contained Church for yourself. A little bruised but this is no Hilton, had an absolute whale of a time and that's another thing off the bucket list.

We stayed at Driftwood cottages they were perfect for us, very clean and comfortable. Lovely walks to the beach and wharf from the Cottage, 10 minute walk to the local RSL for lunch of dinner and just down the road was the lovely restaurant at the old post office. We sat on the deck after our day of sight seeing...

We only stayed one night, if trip plans had allowed we could have comfortably stayed more. Very clean, well equipped, friendly hosts. So far and by far easily the best bed we have slept on in Tassie. Self contained, with a small Webber BBQ on the deck allowed me to cook a nice meal rather than having to get prepared...
