We arrived in Tas on the Spirit early in the morning. 7.30 am we arrived at the park. Great welcome from the manager, very clean amenities, great uninterrupted view of the harbour, lots of wild life, perfect start to our long stay on this stunning Isle.

We loved Tassie! Hired a van, travelled East to West. Appreciated Tassie in all its natural beauty. Mutual respect we found so many incredible places often on the side of the road, next to the beach including national parks. Welcoming facilities that were ran on honesty payments or donations. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of unmanned sights, donating... More

I have stayed here on two seperate occasions now and I really enjoy staying here. A lot of caravan parks don't cater well for tent campers and as a result they're more like pitching a tent in a backyard. Not so here, the park is set in wonderful and spacious grounds in a magnificent location. There is plenty of wildlife... More

We arrived from the spirit of tas to one caretaker making us wait to book in while she finished her cigarette. The cabins (1970's old caravans with a dismal outbuilding attached) were poor at best, the beds were great if you don't mind saggy mattresses. Luckily we had 2 "cabins" as hot water only worked in one. The male caretaker... More

Stayed here after getting off spirit of tassie. Lady at the reception was lovely and helpful. We just stayed at an unpowered campsite which was nice enough. Good facilities and a gorgeous view of the ocean with a lighthouse. LOTS of wildlife

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left I was treated the worst I have ever been treated at the 50+ caravan parks I have stayed at around Australia and New Zealand. The first encounter with Victor (the caretaker) we were greeted with an unwelcoming “what? What do you want?” We were then told that we hadn’t made... More

Just visited. We had a good view! Close to toilets, beach, cafe, park, etc. Wasn't noisy. Saw some wildlife at night! Friendly staff. It was great that it's dog friendly! Keep you belongings safe, as there was a man going round! Apart from that it was good!

My very first experience at this park was an abusive greeting from the problemed caretaker. We set up camp and my second encounter with this fool was a threat involving police action! I had done nothing but set up and talk with friends. There was absolutely no reason for this abuse. The camp site is beautiful and the area is... More

After leaving the Mersey Bluff Caravan Park and going to Stanley for a while we ventured back to Devonport and back to the Bluff Caravan Park. Victor put us on a different site; one that was out of the wind a little more!! Also the park has now got its own DUMP POINT. This makes camping very easy as we... More
