Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at this park for 4 nights in powered caravan site B10. Met hosts (Luke and Carolyn) upon arrival- very friendly, helpful and informative hosts- walked us to our site which is one of the best caravan sites we have stayed at. Excellent views over water- swimming beach is only 70 metres away. Cafe, restaurant and kids play area situated next to beach. Easy walk to Devonport CBD along walkway next to water. Views of Spirit of Tasmania as it arrives or departs. Camp kitchen is spotless with all utensils needed and toilets/ showers are very clean. One of the best parks in the State- if not the best. Thanks Luke/ Carolyn for your professionally run caravan park. Cheers

Our stay at Mersey Bluff CP before travelling on the spirit of Tasmania was perfect. Such a beautiful scenic park close to coffee and restaurants. The owners are fantastic. So helpful. The amenities are spotless and the grounds are grassy and tidy.

This caravan park is in a fantastic location overlooking the beach and close to many local attractions and Luke and Carolyn, (the owners) go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. There are great caravan and camping sites, as well as excellent self contained cabins. The facilities are all maintained to a high standard and are impeccably clean.

What a beautiful little spot! We stayed for 1 night in our van in May 2023. Great facilities. Sally’s customer service was above and beyond. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. Also the restaurant upstairs in what looks like the surf club (can’t recall the name) was amazing!!

Cramped and crammed. I don’t recall ever being so close to so many in 30 years of camping Happy host, fires allowed in drums and close to lovely beaches but so much easier to find so much better within an hour’s drive. I suspect it’s popular because it’s so close to Devonport’s Spirit of Tasmania terminal with it’s totally dysfunctional traffic but on balance, for one night, I would stay elsewhere. Almost all sites were flat and many were terraced but the park also has some fairly steep roads and far from straightforward reverses into sites. It may not be the ideal choice for anyone not 100% confident with their reversing, particularly in larger units.

Spectacular ocean vistas. Wonderful hosts. The best camp kitchen ever. Extremely clean amenities. Excellent hot showers. Large grassed sites. Beach 1 minute walk away. Could sit and while away the day watching the ocean. Local wild life visits every night. Rakes provided to rake away anything they leave behind.

Located just below the Bluff, this caravan park is spectacularly sited with coastal and sea views to the east: it provides large grassy sites with water views adjacent to the towns popular foreshore cafe area. Provides a good amenities block and camp kitchen. It is not fenced off from the public with its sites accessed of a public roadway to the bluff: can be a bit of noise from locals at times. Had a week here: provided an excellent and comfortable base to visit nearby areas and attractions.

We popped in to see if there were any powered sites available for an overnight stay. What a piece of paradise we found. The only negative was that we had to leave. There was everything about this caravan park that we loved. Location and friendliness of the Manager. Perfect for some great walks. Amenities were clean and tidy. We cannot wait to return with our own caravan and stay for much longer.
