Devonport's a hard place to find an overnight stay for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) except in a family-style motel room. We just needed a night in town before the morning ferry back to Melbourne, and we didn't expect too much from Glasgow Lodge. Overall, it was OK. There's two separate bedrooms (queen in one, a set of single... More

My wife and son stayed for another 17 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our 3rd stay but this time noticed the lounge was a bit grubby and worn out and the bed could do with an up date , but all in all still a great place to stay , we will be back .

My husband and I stayed at the lodge after reading the wonderful reviews. We were greeted by the friendly but slightly noisy Zeke (fluffy mop of a dog) closely followed by Robin. Who is not Simon after all (thought we would be clever and call him by name), Turns out Simon was just helping out his Dad Robin. We were... More

......before catching the ferry the next day. There's no doubt we could have stayed longer. I booked this on the fly figuring if I made a horrible mistake it wouldn't really matter. A VERY pleasant surprise when we pulled up (quite late - sorry Simon!). Simon at the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful and the apartment was great!... More

Myself and my wife stayed at Glasgow Lodge recently and it was the most comfortable I have been whilst on holidays. The units were a great size, very clean and the staff were very helpful. I see why this motel is popular and people are staying long term because the units are very spacious and have their own carport.

In need of updating- think 70s retro and you'd be on the right track. But in good condition, and clean. Spacious size apartment, great lounge and the kitchenette had everything you need to cook a basic dinner. We stayed there the night before we caught the ferry to Melbourne, and it was very convenient. Friendly service, the manager gave us... More

We had family visiting over the Christmas period so we booked them into a family room at the Glasgow Lodge in Devonport, what a great move this was as the rooms are spacious with a large lounge and plenty of parking and grass area to sit outside and have a few Xmas drinks with them. The owner was very friendly... More

We've stayed at Glasgow Lodge a couple of times now, using it as a short-term stopping off point before or after the boat to/from Melbourne. The accommodations are fairly basic (ie. not luxurious), but everything is as it should be, and is good value for money. Service is great - management was happy to extend our check-out time when our... More

We had a very nice 2 bedroom unit complete with kitchen and laundry facilities. Ideal for longer trips where these are needed. The rooms were very clean and the facilities were fine. The kitchen and living area were quite spacious and would suit a familiy. Undercover parking adjoined the unit. The owners were very helpful and able to recommend suitable... More
