Everything about Cradle Mountain Hotel was great. We had the smorgasbord and the food was also very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the bar area was great, very comfortable and inviting.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel. It was a really beautiful and relaxing stay. Food was great, rooms really clean and staff very friendly. Being so close to the National Park is a definite draw card. My only suggestion would be having some more child friendly activities.

Our rooms were good although no air conditioning but we were able to open our door to a Juliette balcony and lock the screen door with a floor fan on to cool it down. The room itself though was comfortable and well appointed. The dining room however was stifling and uncomfortably hot. We asked the staff to turn the temperature in the dining area down but they didn’t seem to understand. The bar area was comfortable cool. The lounge areas in the hotel had small fireplaces on and were a great place to sit after a walk in the cool night air. We were here for New Year’s Eve and a band played well into the early hours of New Year’s Day but sitting on the balcony outside the dining area was lovely and a few glasses of wine made it a very special place.

We were having a lovely stay until a very large group came with lots of kids. We spent nearly $150 on fine dining and I literally couldn't hear what my husband was saying over the noise from the kids running around and Scream When I told the other guests to be quiet, multiple times, I was ignored. Then they were screaming in the corridors. Eventually I blew it and told them to all f off, and that started a row where I was physically pulled by a male guest to the front desk. Nothing was done. I guess they brought in lots of money so the establishment seemed fine with them being obnoxious, loud and physically violent. I've never felt so disappointed by a relaxing weekend away. Whilst the hotel aren't to blame for other guests, I feel there should be some sort of standard around conduct and guest comfort/safety that should be considered.

Hi see_you_in_Asia, I am so sorry to hear of your poor experience with us. This is not a standard that we set and the matter will be discussed with key staff to ensure this does not happen again; the safety of our staff & guests is absolutely paramount. I have attempted to reach you by phone this morning with no luck but have sent a follow up email, please feel free to reach out to me directly about this matter.
