Only stayed for one night but wished it was more. I was looking for something in the wilderness and was very happy! The hosts were great, checked in late with the fire already going. Only 1 minute drive to the meeting point for canyoning tours which we did!! The cottage was amazing and had a great feel to it.

We stayed in a well appointed wood cabin, including a log fire, which was nice for the chilly nights. It is only 150 metres to the visitor's centre, from where you can catch a shuttle bus into the park. It wasn't cheap to stay, but the cooking facilities are good (including quality pots) so you can self cater and save... More

We stayed in Pandani cottage over New Year and, with a family of 2 adults & 2 children we had the perfect cottage. The cottage was beautifully clean & the little gas fire was a welcome addition, even in summer, as it got down to 5 degrees the two nights we were there. There was abundant wildlife including paddymelons &... More

Was so happy with my choice to book this property at such a busy time of year. The log cabins are spotless and comfortable and add to the mountain experience with their log fire ambiance. Cabin was fully self contained and directly over the road from the shuttle bus that takes you in to the National Park. Wildlife strolling around... More

From the moment of arriving we were made to feel welcome. Very friendly and helpful staff who answered all our questions and gave some great suggestions as to how to spend our few days. We drove in from Mole Creek after spending three nights in that area and it was approx a scenic two hour drive. We were warmly greeted by Sharon who was so friendly and helpful. As we had arrived mid afternoon and wanted to see the Devils @ Cradle she kindly called D@C for us and booked us on the tour.... More

A two-hour drive from Devonport to Cradle Mt. Watching out to your right after you passing the Visitor Centre, The Highlanders Cottages signboard is on your right. It's a long drive up but well worth it. Stayed in tallow wood for a night. The rooms were surprisingly clean with 2 big and comfy King-sized beds. There's a wood fire place and electric heater too. Wet bath room had a jacuzzi bath tub and there was a dry bath room too. We bought food from Sheffield and Elizabeth... More

It was truly an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely clean and well-designed, a very quaint cottage. It had a kitchenette with all the equipment one could possibly need - even to bake! Definitely a night of luxury before I set out to the Overland Track the next day. If you are trying to... More
