Loved the building, the cabins and the location. The staff were all amazing very friendly and made you feel very welcome. The food was over priced and not of a very high standard. When booking our two day get away we were expecting a spa on our balcony but this was not the case. I felt the room was comfortable...

Peppers Lodge reminds me of being trapped at the airport. You’re excited about the adventure ahead but scared that the longer you stay the more it will cost. Cradle Mountain Lodge feels like you've stepped into some alpine Wonderland. Wallabies, pademelons and wombats were visible from our Pencil Pine cabin balcony and just beyond was a quaint lake that gathered...

Enjoyed a wonderful two nights at Peppers Cradle Mountain. The accomodation was great and the lodge had nice dining in both the restaurant and tavern. The breakfast filled us up for our daily adventures. All staff were friendly and helpful. Will return to Peppers in future.

Our room was contemporary and clean. Not lux, but pleasant and light. Dinner was terrific (wallaby for me, I know, I know, cute and fuzzy but so are lambs and rabbits) The lodge didn't seem very open and friendly, but the area and the hiking/walking trails are very nice and quite beautiful. And, of course, close to Cradle Mountain. Something...

We cannot say enough about this place, highly recommended. we stayed in a pencil pine suite with balcony overlooking the lodge and the lake, absolutely beautiful. The room was very comfortable. The lodge was very welcoming with its leather lounges and huge stone fireplaces. There are a couple of different seating areas depending on your mood. The bistro was a...

To start with half of your huts are falling apart or need major reno. No wifi even in the reception area - because it is raining...? No TV and that not stated anywhere. Reception bloke that took care of us was terrible and unfriendly and their stake was chewy as hell. Well, not bad but for the price you dare...

Hi Greg G I sorry you don't appear to have enjoyed any aspects of your stay with us - the Team and I are always disappointed to read that a guest has not enjoyed their experience with us. From a technology perspective having only recently arrived at the Lodge myself I'm particularly interested in that aspect of feedback - in...

Beautiful location, friendly service, clean and very convenient. Breakfast and food is also great, however the mattress is so uncomfortable, possibly the most uncomfortable mattress we've ever slept on. I would have expected a decent mattress at Peppers so was very disappointing to wake up with very sore shoulders and back each morning.

Hi michaely869 Thanks for taking the time to write and great to read you enjoyed most aspects of your stay. I've only just recently arrived so will ask our Executive Housekeeper about our mattress range - I've slept on a few but didn't experience discomfort - we may have different product across the cabin range - but appreciated the heads...

Am I hiker, no. Do I like cold and rain? No. But after a beautiful day, challenging myself by doing these things, it was so good to return to the cracking log fires and cheery hello at the lodge. We ate twice in the tavern bar and once in highlands, all good. Everything is pretty well done and dusted by...

Hi Hilary Chef Trevor and I have just recently joined the Team up here on the mountain and have been discussing the very concepts you've highlighted - I agree nothing like a cuppa in front of a nice fire on a wet and chilly do - we do the wet and chilly so next step is to get a batch...

The room was fabulous, well appointed and comfortable. Tavern food delish & sitting in the lounge by the fire cosy. The Enchanted Walk being right there and wildlife wandering around the was property amazing. Staying so close to Dove Lake perfect for maximizing time walking around the area then relaxing afterwards. Just sorry I didn't pre-book some pampering in the...

Staff were all excellent, remembered who we were and our previous interactions. The wildlife freely wandering the resort is always exciting. Was very pleased to find the staff had lit the fire in our room while we went straight to dinner from checking in.
