Pleasant people, but no working internet (which was not sorted), beeping fire alarm (which was sorted after a request), no milk in the room for tea (which was sorted after a request), a bit of a smell in the room, so not quite what one would hope for.

We stayed at the hotel for two night's. We ordered breakfast for our last day there but had to ring up the night before hand because we had to leave early that morning due to a family emergency. No body answered the phone when we rang that afternoon/evening so we left voice messages. so we called early in the morning as well. They still tried to charge us for a meal we didn't get served or get to eat.!!! The spa in the bathroom also didnt work properly so we didnt even end up being able to use it. The receptionist are extremely rude all the time unless they are taking your money. I habe never seen anyone wear such a condescending fake smile in my life. We also asked for extra the towels in the room an in return got a mouth of rudeness from the manager saying " is there not enough towles for you " now imagine that in kinda a high pitch male voice but being extremely rude. I am a female I have long hair I'm a bigger lady I shouldn't have to explain why I asked for extra towels or be harassed about it. They banned me from staying there simply because I refused to pay for a meal I didnt eat or get given because they couldn't answer the phones when we rang them or listen to there voice messages. RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET.!!! I will never recommend this property to anyone. If you want a lovely place to stay with a spa and great food stay at TULLAH LODGE!!!!

Stayed one night in an ocean view room. Room was spacious and had everything you could need for a 1 or 2 night stay. Room looked recently refurbished and was very clean. Location is very central to Burnie CBD as well as being opposite the beach/ocean front. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights in the Executive Suite with Sea View / Balcony room. Plenty of room space in this clean and comfortable central location mote. Short walk to Coles store bakeries deli's etc in CBD. We found Burnie a great place to stay and explore daily car trips as far North West to Smithton and Stanley . Be sure to stop at Tarkine Oysters at Smithton and enjoy these absolutely tasty large freshly shucked natural oysters. A MUST DO!
