The bed was perfect & cosy - The shower was hot and perfect Breakfast supplied was just perfect Good location with a quick walk to the main shops & restaurants too Mmm the service was crap! No welcome to Tasmania.. " just here's your key and do you want milk"

The manager's oddly detached greeting spoke volumes about the stay. Perhaps he was perplexed (as was I, in retrospect) as to why I would stay there more than one night. The room was, in a word, shabby. The light had fallen out of the ceiling and was dangling by the cables, there was a large patch of visible rot showing...

Stayed here with a group of friends. Great location to main town shops, restaurants and beach. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Reasonably priced and buffet continental breakfast was just what I like. Great views from the restaurant. No passing traffic noise. Laundry with washing machine and dryer and washing powder , all can be used at no charge. Fresh milk...

Wellers Inn is located up high in Queen Street with views over the harbour and town. It is within easy walking distance of the city centre and conveniently located near the tourist information office (Maker's Workshop) which commemorates the age of paper mills and paper making, and also nearby fairy penguins can be viewed in the evening at the water's...

Whilst working in Burnie for a month I stayed in Wellers for two nights, thankfully this was only whilst my regular haunt was booked out. I stayed downstairs at the front of the hotel where it seems that all the travelling miners and tradies seemed to congregate throughout the night drinking, this did not make for a good night sleep....

Have found myself in Burnie several times over the past year and I enjoy returning to Wellers Inn. Both owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, ground level, hot shower and convenient parking outside the unit. Breakfast in the dining room is relaxing and the fantastic view of the sun rising over the harbour is a definate...

Recently stayed at Wellers Inn, wonderful service upon arrival and selection of newspapers appreciated. Views from rooms are lovely and even better from the dining room when having a delightful breakfast. The rooms are comfortable, beds great and with convenient parking and central position to town centre, Wellers is the ideal base when in Burnie. Richard and Nigel look after...

With frequent visits to Burnie for my work, Wellers has become my home away from home. Clean, modern rooms, with superb comfortable beds, amazing sea views and a great breakfast (with a view), Wellers is a great place to stay. The proximity to the Civic Centre (5 mins walk) for seminars and shows is also a plus. Great value for...

Very clean affordable accommodation, breath taking views of Bass Strait walk only a few minutes to the CBD with plenty of restaurants to choose from. I stayed in the spa suite and could unwind and relax in comfort and style in the newly renovated room, very impressive suite.

Thank Bernadette B
