Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed 1 night, and it was great. Checkin was a lovely experience, the room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfy. It was the little things that really impressed us. Reasonably priced mini bar, good-sized wine glasses. But best of all, they had mugs for morning coffee, not those silly little cups. Just down the end of the street, we went and saw the local penguin colony.

We booked two nights here, and only stayed because the booking was not refundable. Poorly maintained, basic things neglected (torn fly screen, bubbling paint, bedside table broken, dodgy door handle and light to bathroom, nowhere to put soap in shower other than on the floor). Not recommended.

Very pleasant check in and helpful service when booking but the room was not clean, and reeked of smoke. There was hair in the bed and on pillows and what I suspect were bed friends. A very sleepless and itchy night.

Apt pricing, clean and nice staff. Will likely stay again. Stayed as a family emergency and resided there for 5 days. Ordered the room the night before and is central in location for Burnie. Everything is walking distance.

The guy at the front counter was great, very friendly and helpful. I thought the price was a bit rich, given the room I stayed in, which was right up the back in a tired lack-lustre block of rooms. The room and bed were comfortable, but hot tap water was discoloured, and I never been in a motel room that wasn't air-conditioned before (?). I didn't use any of the in-house facilities due to my short stay. All-in-all...clean, neat, comfortable.

We left feedback in the room, so out of not wanting to be negative, I wont write anything further to that. Wellers is central, good view, very small rooms, but it's what we needed just for a night. Don't feel it was value for money, as we had paid $20 cheaper the night before for somewhere else, and it was far more suited to us.

The staff are very friendly and the views are excellent, particularly from the restaurant during breakfast. The was a good selection of food available for breakfast including cooked to order hot breakfast and coffee. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower water pressure was not very good and temperature was variable. The location is reasonably close to town but requires walking down a fairly steep hill. Exit from the parking area was a bit tight unless in the front units.

We arrived in Burnie on a cold afternoon. Booked in. Room had heater going, which was lovely. It had a list of all the local eateries, which was handy. Good location. Very clean and quiet. Friendly staff. Nice comfy bed. Would recommend!

Attended a private function onsite so stayed for the night, location close to shops a bonus and always great breakfast. Easy choice to make when needing to stay in Burnie. Staff always great and love the daily papers.
