Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Also know as the Bridport Seaside Caravan Park.

What a lovely place to spend a few days and probably the largest holiday park I have ever stayed in. We had a powered site for our Motorhome and it was super close to the toilet and showers which were free to use and very clean, including a hot shower.

There are multiple facilities around the park because it’s so large so you don’t need to walk very far for a shower etc.

Our site was literally on the ocean and we could hear the waves crashing all night and it was wonderful.

Our powered site was $47 per night but given we stayed for Christmas it was worth it.

Don’t hesitate to stop at this park, it’s worth the extra travel distance to get their and the location is breathtaking.

We booked a powered site - the sites are a case of organized chaos. They are so hard to find, people just overload the sites and sprawl out as much as they can with multiple vehicles, trailers boats etc.
The toilets are in one direction and the showers are in another direction. Amenitities are clean. The public walking path goes through the park as it is beach front, so you have general people trying to use the amenitities which are locked by code.
Once you "find" your site, the location is a ripper, close to beach and a stone throw from shops

Toilet block and shower block are afair way from each other. No hot water in toilets, tiny hand basin.$47 for a powered site is right up there for what you get.
Would be very crowded in the summer.Noisy jack hammer started at 730 nearby.

The only CP in Bridport.....
Take it or leave it. $38.00 for unpowerd sites, on a slop with VERY average facilities. Camp kitchen has x2 BBQ, 1one electric jug, one toster one microwave and one large fridge that doesn't work.
Showers and toilets been renovated, BUT limit of 4 minutes to get a luke warm water. So overall way to expensive for the $$$.

This park is in a great location. Easy access to a beautiful beach and walking distance to the cafes, pub and shops. It is a big bushy park so the sites aren’t very level but that’s not a big problem. It does get busy in peak season so you need to book but I think there should be more amenities to accommodate the large amount of campers. Dogs are allowed off peak season, it would be nice if during summer months they were only banned during weekends or school holidays. There is only a few sites available for dogs so you need to book. I guess we will have to wait until next winter but we will be back.

This park extends along the water and has many lovely spots to set up. The facilities were good and clean. The laundry was appreciated and reasonably priced.
Lovely walk into the small town and we also made use of the bicycles available at the park.
We would certainly stay again should we be in the area.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The council closed the park due to coronavirus concerns. The manager, Danny, was very nice to deal with. The park is in a great location and has good facilities. The sites are spacious but uneven. We found it a bit confusing with 5 entrances to the park. My advice is to go in the first entrance and check in. There is a wide roundabout you can turn easily.
I guess the place would be busy in peak times.

We lobbed at this place on spec and were most pleasantly surprised. The park is a sprawling facility with an extensive waterfrontage. We stayed at a relatively quiet time and it would be hard to not find a site to suit. Ours was a sheltered, powered site adjacent to a nice little beach and fishing rocks. (It might not be quite so idyllic at busy holiday times). Separate toilets and showers were a bit of a novelty but they were close together, clean and functional. We particularly like the good four minute (no cost) shower.
Unfortunately, we couldn't stay long enough to take full advantage of the park or the town but we'll come again if we get the chance.

The location was spot on, we were a stones throw from the beach. Checkin was easy as we had to do after hours. The staff I dealt with were brilliant. Such a beautiful outlook to wake up to. Highly recommend Bridport caravan park. Walking distance to the town centre
