Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our cabin called Albatross had a room with a double bed, bathroom and kitchen/living area. We had everything we needed. It was quiet and comfortable and seeing a little wallaby grazing outside was a bonus. The shower had hand rails and I thought about grey nomads enjoying this feature. The staff were happy and friendly. We visited the hotel nearby for dinner and the food was great. The sunset over the river spectacular. We visited many places in the area including Goaty Hills Wines,Liona wines, Batman Bridge Beaconsfield and Low Head. A great trip. Thank you.

We stayed for 2 nights in the kookaburra cabin right on the water front, cabin was absolutely spotless and has everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable. Staff very friendly on check in. Only disappointing thing was we didn't stay long enough kids wanted to move in lol.

We stayed only one night on a powered site. It took us a while to rouse anyone at reception at around 4 pm so we had a chance to look around before choosing a site. we were looking for some shelter for our wind-susceptible slide-on camper and we found a good hedged site which we were happy enough to pay a bit more for. The park is probably geared towards holidaymakers and this was a quiet time so we virtually had the good facilities to ourselves.
The park is situated right on the river in an attractive setting in an area with many interesting features. Unfortunately we had to leave to catch the Spirit of Tasmania the next day and we couldn't take advantage of it. We'll be back if we get the chance.

Our stay at Beauty Point was great! The scenery of the lake was amazing and it is close to beaconsfield. The place had a bbq a short walk from our cabin in the site. It also had a washing machine and dryer in our cabin. (I don't know if it is like that in all cabins).

It would be nice if a recycling bin was in the cabin, we were surrounded by all this wildlife and the extra care for the enviroment would be nice.

Other than this I have no complaints, it was spacious, had the things we needed.

Lovely stay. Would defintly recommend.

Great base to explore the attractions in Beauty Point and nearby Beaconsfield.
We arrived out of office hours and the directions we were given to the cabin were simple and easy to follow. The cabin was modern with a water view from its' balcony The kitchenette was extremely well equipped for a few days stay though the bedroom and bathroom were a little on the compact side.
The park's public areas looked well maintained and it was an easy drive back into town for takeaway if required.

Check in was easy and the staff friendly. We stayed for 3 nights in a cabin, very clean, with all we needed including a dishwasher. The grounds are tidy and well kept. We used the outside bbq's and they were very clean too. Lovely spot and a lot to see around the area. Go to Beauty Point Waterfront Hotel for a meal, you wont be disappointed. This was our 2nd stay here, we will definitely be back. It says free wifi available throughout the site, we were only about 10 metres from the reception area and it didnt work, apart from that all was great

We loved this place, our cabin had a great water view from the covered veranda, gardens were well maintained as was the community BBQ area. Bit squeezing along side the bed but the bed itself was great. This is one of those caravan parks that the office even closes for lunch, so make sure you time your arrival and questions accordingly!

I pre arranged a late after hours arrival. When I rang the staff member was very nice and welcoming I was provided clear instructions about self check-in. As I called a month earlier I double checked my self check-in arrangements via email, Susan was prompt to respond. Thank you. As I arrived the cabin was clearly marked on the map which was left with my key to my cabin and as I entered I noticed how clean it was. And the heater was turned on for me to ensure I don't walk into a cold room. Definitely recommend.

This was nicest cabin I have ever stayed in (Kingfisher) for two nights. I did have Blue Wren (cabin next to us) envy as they had a balcony you could sit and eat on. Still Kingfisher was great, comfy couch, good kitchen, washing machine and dryer (bonus) and was very quiet at night. We were near the river but with just glimpses through the trees. Wifi didn’t work in our cabin and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. A simple mattress topper would make a big difference. Was very happy overall here and would love to return one day and stay longer. Was one of our favourite stays in our two weeks in Tassie.

The cabin itself was ok, the bed was like a torture chamber. The mattress was no better than sleeping on the floor.
The inset bathroom door held the hair of countless people who had stayed in the cabin prior to us arriving. For $129, we would have been better off staying in Launceston in a place much better presented.
When I emailed, as they were not opened when we left, all I received was the requested invoice, no word of apology or explanation.
