Beauty Point Cottages are set in the picturesque Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania, Australia, in the village of Beauty Point. There are two self-contained cottages, one with a spa and one with easy access. Also, there is a room in the homestead with its own entrance and ensuite. Don’t go anywhere else! “Bay Cottage” was superb. Colin and Barbara are gems. The room was excellent, the DIY cooked breakfast in the pagoda was great fun and the views of the estuary are stunning. A real treat after two nights camping - and even better with a glass of wine sitting on our balcony overlooking the garden and estuary!

After a few nights in a tent it was a delight to be welcomed by Barbara and Colin in their lovely property. A separate immaculate stand alone cottage with space to sort ourselves out and have a cup of tea with Colin’s homemade shortbread. Useful tips of the area and a fabulous cook your own breakfast in a little pagoda with views down to the water. Absolutely idyllic. Nothing was too much trouble and Colin brought up the hand held vacuum and helped us clean the rental car whilst Barbara gave us more of Colin’s shortbread for the journey. If we come back I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Perfect. Thank you

What a wonderful stay we had at Beauty Point Cottages. The Bay Cottage in which we stayed was equipped with everything you could think of. The Cottage was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh eggs,bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and spring onions along with a fresh loaf of bread and cereal. It was so good we ended up having it for dinner! The hosts are lovely people full of information. When Mark was cooking dinner they came up with a bowl of local cherries … Fantastic stay and would definitely stay there if up that way again.

This property is amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. We stayed for three nights at the end of our honeymoon and was greeted with smiling faces and plenty of suggestions on what to do in the area. Everyday we had something new for breakfast everyday and they even cleaned the barbecue for us after we used it. The room was immaculate and they emptied the bins and hung up new towels everyday for us while we were out sightseeing. There is so much to do in the Tamar valley area and the views from our room was amazing.

Such an easy trip from Launceston Airport and so worth venturing up here before we headed across to Cradle Mountain. We were greeted by our hostess who explained a little about the history of the property and the things we should see during our stay. Our room was beautifully equipped with all the little features (like heated towels) that make for a perfect stay. The small fridge was filled with special treats, including eggs laid by the resident chooks, bacon, mushrooms, yoghurt, juice... and we were encouraged to use the barbecue housed in the nearby gazebo for our breakfast. After breakfast we explored the stunning gardens and wandered down the laneway from the house to the water's edge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Barb was the most welcoming of hosts, with plenty of useful tips. The property is stunning, right on the water with a garden and gazebo that it peaceful. Our room was beyond our expectations, the private balcony, the jacuzzi, the view.. Definitely the place to stay in beauty point.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights In February 2018.I cannot think of one way that Barbara or Colin could improve their services. Everything was exceptional. We loved it here. As hosts they are so friendly and thoughtful and seemed to have considered everything. We cooked the breakfasts on the B.B.Q. in the gazebo looking out over the river estuary. Our room, Bay Cottage, was spacious and very clean and comfortable. We had been travelling around Tasmania and when we arrived at this idyllic spot we decided to just "chill". Just before we left Colin even cleaned our car for us, cannot get much better service than that. Thank you both so much for our wonderful stay with you. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Barb and Colin are the best hosts with nothing too much trouble. They are so eager to please their guests. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable and the treats on arrival delicious, Breakfast was generous and sourced where possible from local produce. We didn’t want to leave the beautiful view as it was so relaxing. Thanks for a great visit!

If you're visiting the Tamar River area of Tasmania this is very much a 'must stay' location. Not only are the views amazing, the care and attention offered by Barbara and Colin are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and the quality of the cottages is first class. We stayed in Bay Cottage which comes with a very welcome spa tub and every convenience supplied. Furnishings are top quality and the breakfasts sumptuous. Use the grill in the gazebo for outdoor dining or breakfast and you'll feel very special Lovely people, lovely welcome, lovely cottages and locations If Tripadvisor gave ten stars, Beauty Point would be twelve!
