Detailed Reviews
My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights In February 2018.I cannot think of one way that Barbara or Colin could improve their services. Everything was exceptional. We loved it here. As hosts they are so friendly and thoughtful and seemed to have considered everything. We cooked the breakfasts on the B.B.Q. in the gazebo looking out over the river estuary. Our room, Bay Cottage, was spacious and very clean and comfortable. We had been travelling around Tasmania and when we arrived at this idyllic spot we decided to just "chill". Just before we left Colin even cleaned our car for us, cannot get much better service than that. Thank you both so much for our wonderful stay with you. I thoroughly recommend this place.

If you're visiting the Tamar River area of Tasmania this is very much a 'must stay' location. Not only are the views amazing, the care and attention offered by Barbara and Colin are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and the quality of the cottages is first class. We stayed in Bay Cottage which comes with a very welcome spa tub and every convenience supplied. Furnishings are top quality and the breakfasts sumptuous. Use the grill in the gazebo for outdoor dining or breakfast and you'll feel very special
Lovely people, lovely welcome, lovely cottages and locations
If Tripadvisor gave ten stars, Beauty Point would be twelve!

We enjoyed two nights here. There are no better hosts than Barbara and Colin. We loved the Bay cottage. It had absolutely everything you could want along with a beautiful view across the Tamar River. The food they supply for breakfast is extremely generous. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. It was one of the top highlights of our 12 days in Tasmania.

We were family of four, stayed for 2 nights. It was a well kept property with beautiful garden, facing river Tamar. Barb was an excellent host with personal touch. Rooms were clean with all needed amenities, including a nice breakfast provisions. We tried restaurants / bakeries recommended by Barb and were fantastic. I wish we had stayed more days here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Beauty Point. Our cottage was first class, the breakfast provisions were excellent and the views over the garden down to the Tamar were stunning. Barbara and Colin were welcoming hosts with spot on information about nearby restaurants. Highly recommended.

Overlooking the Tamar estuary, this B&B gave us essentially a whole luxury flat: bedroom, dining area on the verandah, sitting room, bathroom with jacuzzi in the bath. Our bed looked out onto a richly planted garden & the river. The kind and welcoming owner Colin couldn't do enough for us & gave us plentiful supplies in the fridge to make breakfast – we made lunch as well from these. I wish we could have stayed to enjoy if for longer.

+1
We found this place by chance and thank goodness. Staying here was like a big hug. Barbara and Colin are beautiful people who care about their guests. The Rosebank room was beautiful and the location is superb with amazing garden and views.
The room we stayed in had own bathroom, kitchen essentials and a most comfy bed. Very spacious.
Colin and Barbara are the best hosts.
The cottages are near the town, which has the Seahorse and Platypus World, also not fair from Beaconsfield and approximately 30-40mins from Launceston.

We stayed a night here while travelling around northern Tasmania and had a lovely stay with fantastic service from Barbara and Colin. The property and gardens are well maintained, comfortable bed and accommodation and a lovely breakfast. Barbara has lots of tips for the local surrounds, including restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend.

Synergy was a buzzword in the 90's, but for me it's always something I'm looking for - it s that intangible sense that the sum of the parts is greater than the whole - there is a special ingredient that unlocks synergy I think - love.
There is no doubt that love is at work in this business - and although so much effort is put into the details - that alone would be fantastic - but the personal efforts, and the warmth of the hosts takes this B&B to a whole new level - awesome.

What wonderful hosts - Colin and Bluey the cat looked after our every need. The chalet was warm and cosy with wonderful views of the Tamar. We were catered for with abundance and will certainly visit again if ever we are near again.
