Beauty Point Cottages are set in the picturesque Tamar Valley in northern Tasmania, Australia, in the village of Beauty Point. There are two self-contained cottages, one with a spa and one with easy access. Also, there is a room in the homestead with its own entrance and ensuite. You are welcome to wander the garden and have a BBQ in the gazebo.. We specialize in spoiling our guests! Looking forward to seeing you, Colin and Barbara Atkinson

The cottages are immaculate. Lovely views over garden and ocean. Comfy beds and all amenities you could desire - lint brush, boot polish and the list goes on. Disability support bathroom. Breakfast basket stunning. Barbara is a delightful person - very helpful and I think very talented.

What a lovely place to stay, from the warm welcome, amazing breakfast provided, cozy cottage, great views from floor to ceiling windows and beautiful garden. We even received some delicious biscuits for our journey the next day. Great hosts, everything has been thought of to make for an enjoyable stay here.

We received the warmest of welcomes from Barbara and Colin and they gave us really good advice regarding local restaurants and Cellar Doors to visit. We stayed in the Bay Cottage which had a really nice outlook over the gardens and the river. It was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with a lovely big and very comfortable bed which was great to watch the sunrise from in the morning. You are provided with a breakfast hamper and encouraged to use the electric bbq in the gazebo which we did and sat on our balcony to eat our breakfast which was a perfect start to our day. Our son and his partner stayed in the other cottage where the only difference was the type of bathroom, I can’t recommend this little gem enough thanks Barbara and Colin.

Was booked in here for 3 nights by Tasmania Odyssey, and I could see why! Stayed in Bay Cottage and it was a lovely self contained cottage with a nice clean bed (at least a queen size) with a small kitchen area with pots and pans and microwave and toaster and cutleries and utensils. A small living area with sofa, armchairs and a balcony facing the river rounds up the house. Bay Cottage has a spa/jacuzzi in it and we simply soaked ourselves in it at the end of each day. :) There was an open space in front of the cottage enough to park our car as well. Convenient at its best! Breakfast hampers were provided everyday and we were encouraged to use the gazebo to BBQ our food (which we didn’t), but we cooked in the cottage itself. Fresh produce everyday and for a fact that my…

We have stayed in many places on our journeys through the years both here in the UK and around the world. Here we received the warmest welcome you could wish for. Barbara and Colin were delightful and they greeted us as if we were family. It is difficult to right down all the things we loved about Beauty Point Cottages. The accommodation was impeccable, the food left for a full cooked breakfast took us by surprise after so many continentals (with the option to cook it outside on the BBQ- wonderful), the views and the gardens were so impressive. If anywhere should have a 5 star rating, or a 10 out of 10 this is the place! Colin.....'long live the play lunch':-)

I booked the cottage for 3 nights and while it was a bit over my budget I am so glad I chose Beauty Poont Cottages. The cottage was gorgeous with ceiling to floor views of the water. Sparking clean and a lovely modern spa bath. Home baked bread and lovely breakfast supplies. Plenty to do and see.

Barbara and Colin were perfect hosts, so friendly and helpful. The cottage was amazing; beautiful views, comfortable bed, great quality breakfast, and wonderful treats to have with our tea when we arrived (even some shortbread to take away!). The garden was lovely too, with access to the river. I would recommend this B & B to anyone wanting to visit this lovely area.

We had a lovely two night stay here and particualrly enjoyed cooking our breakfast (from our hamper) out on the BBQ. The hosts were so friendly on arrival -recommending places to eat, things to do and even the location of a street library so we could swap our holiday books en-route. There were tempting treats in the cottage when we arrived and the kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed waking up to the lovely views from the bed! The gardens are beautifully cared for. Comfy and very clean. Can't fault it :)
