A warm welcome awaits you in either the Blue or Rose Room. Both feature queen beds and have en suite bathrooms, one with a claw foot bath. Enjoy a glass of port with our compliments in the Drawing Room - a lovely place to relax in front of a roaring log fire on cooler evenings. There's also an extensive library, stereo, cards and a chess set. Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the rotunda with fresh seasonal fruit and cooked breakfast with home-made preserves, using the best local produce. In the West Tamar Valley, overlooking the Tamar River, Jensens was originally built as a family home in early 1900's by Jens August Jensen, a Danish gold migrant. The fine federation homestead has large rooms and high ceilings and is filled with lovely antiques. Its northerly aspect captures all day sun, and its superb garden features a rotunda that is a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and take in the amazing views. Jensens is perfectly positioned for the Tamar Valley's many great wineries. Directions: take the shared driveway up the hill.

Just left Jensens BnB Beauty Point which was the perfect location for a weekend of vineyard touring in the Tamar Valley. The home was beautifully appointed and maintained. Particularily enjoyed the evenings on the verandah with the fragrant jasmine. Carol was the perfect hostess, great breakfast (yummy granola!!)

A very comfortable, spotlessly clean, well appointed room in a lovely house, full of character, and with a garden to match. Combine that with an attentive host and a superb breakfast with lots of home made items, and it's about as good as a B&B can be.

We stayed one night here and loved it. The period house with its wraparound verandah overlooking the ocean is heavenly. The house and location are so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing.
Our host Carol greeted us with home made ginger cake and made us feel instantly at home. She’s a perfect host - relaxed , charming and smart but leaves you to enjoy the home yourself. The home made breakfast looking out over the water was magnificent and plentiful - home made granola, bacon and eggs and Carol’s own jams and preserves. We loved everything about this place and such great value for money.

We wanted somewhere special to enjoy our last couple of nights in Tassie and Jensens did not disappoint. Carol was the perfect host and graciously helped us make the most of our stay any way she could. The room, bed, bathroom & garden were all utter luxury. We also spent some time in the drawing room sipping on the delicious port and wow, how could life get any better.

Jensen’s is a wonderful high quality and spacious B&B with sweeping views of the Tamar River vistas. Your host Carol is an entertaining and gracious host who is generous with her time and recommendations for local activities. The large bedroom with en-suite bathroom have quality bed linen and towels with high end products. The lounge has a breakfast table to enjoy the Tamar River views from and lounges by the crackling fireplace to while away the evenings. Set in expansive and colourful gardens and orchard, Jensen’s is close to wineries, Platypus House and the Sea Horse aquarium which are well worth a visit. One of the very best of the many B&Bs we’ve stayed.

It was a relaxing, well maintained B&B. Your host, Carol couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The home cooked breakfast was perfect. The views from the verandah were amazing with great views of the ocean. The bedroom ( mum and I had the blue room ) was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. A beautiful open fire in the lounge / dinning area made for a cozy space to relax . The garden was well maintained with some walking paths. Over all a very clean, comfortable home.

Staying here with Carol is a home away from home. The rooms very large, the linen 1st class along with the towels. The shower is great. The huge lounge and fire is so welcoming and relaxing. Awake and the ‘fire fairy’ has it alight for you. The local area has very good restaurant options. If you like a garden to stroll in, then it’s there for you as well. Brekkie....it just as you want it...small or large using local produce...
