Love this hotel and the rooms are great. I had a king courtyard which is spacious . Had an issue with my room when I first arrived and the staff were excellent in fixing the issue and ensuring I settled into a different room with ease. The staff were exceptional happy to assist. The restaurant is really worth a visit, the food was phenomenal.

We enjoyed our three day midweek break here.
The junior suite in the quiet zone was quiet, clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast in the Gazebo Room was a good start to the day.
The tennis courts are very basic and a broom to sweep the pine needles would be useful.
The Thalgo spa is very good with quality staff and facilities.
The pool and spa were refreshing after a day out and the meals and drinks from the bar were a good option for dinner. It's a shame that the restaurant, Harvest, is only open on Friday and Saturday nights.
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Julie who gave us good advice on day trips, local restaurants and even got the TV working on the night we arrived.
Unfortunately the remote control for the TV died again before we left but that was only a minor inconvenience.

Greetings from the Hawkesbury Peter B, It's so wonderful to hear from you and even more wonderful to know that your stay was an enjoyable one. I have forwarded your review to the whole team, as i feel it will encourage them to keep the great work up and thank you for your kind words. I have also arrange for the maintenance team to tidy up down at the tennis courts and reach out to our technicians to look at the TV/TV remote as this should not have died again that quickly. Thank you for your understanding. I can only hope the next time your heading to the Hawkesbury you think of us again, we would love to have you back. Take care. Julie Jansen Front Office Duty Manager

I spent 10 nights here, working close by, booked by employer.
The room service and reception staff were all excellent, but this venue really stalls on the detail.
The ‘heated pool’ has apparently not been heated for some time. The spa gave up on my last day.
The breakfast onsite has a captive customer approach to pricing: a minimum of $25 to get in the door...no matter if you are not in the mood for gluttony.
The cheapest onsite eatery at the bar has fresh food that is basically either deep fried or a pizza...lacking in fresh green vegetables options and dominated by meat.
The restaurant food is overpriced, pretentious, and out of date.
I would suggest an expedition, even online, to the menus of even just the cafes of north east Victoria to get some ideas about what is happening out there in the rest of the world.

Finally, the wines. Without any more detail, enough to say three out of four glasses of red wine early in my stay were undrinkable or left untouched: they had been poured from bottles left open long enough to become stale and musty, and they were from the very limited choice offered.

I am not a wine snob, or a difficult customer, but for $14 a glass, I do expect quality!

What a shame in an era when so many great foods and wines are available!

Very much a short stay venue, BYO everything otherwise!

I was going to give this 4 stars (at the moment it sounds like someone is showering in our bedroom) but I'm going to be kind. First, the service is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is very friendly and obviously very well trained so big tick there. We are in one of the unrenovated suites for 2 nights. It is plenty big with a nice view and pretty cheap really, so I'm not complaining. Looks a little tired but the bed is comfortable and it has a separate toilet which is a bonus. We had a meal in the bar one night which was very enjoyable. There was a slight problem with one of the dishes. What we thought was (priced) like a main meal looked more like a side serving (the curse of the vegetarian eating out). The staff took our complaint very seriously and couldn't have been more accommodating, which I always think is the mark of good people with good training. I ended up leaving a 20% tip so they obviously reversed my displeasure. Breakfast was a little slow as they cope with COVID changes but we weren't in a hurry. Overall we had a good time and will be back.

This is our 5th visit to stay at Crowne Plaza Windsor in the past few years and as usual it did not disappoint. I requested room #3 on the ground floor as we stayed in this room on a previous visit and it is has no stairs and is conveniently close to the breakfast restaurant. As we were there early in the week there were few local restaurants open so we not only enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, but also met friends in the bar every evening for an aperitif and delicious dinner in a quiet and comfy atmosphere. The staff were all helpful and friendly and we will certainly stay with them again on our next trip to Windsor.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, even staff passing by would nod and greet us. Our room had been refurbished very recently and was spotlessly clean and fresh. The bathroom was new and well appointed, the shower was enormous, so too the hand basin. We were there for a Wedding and the 3 course meal was brilliant. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared and presented. The wait staff were attentive and did a great job. Breakfast was something of a disappointment as the toasted sour dough was dry and hard, the knife couldn't get through it and the bacon not crispy at all and cold. Shame as that is the only reason I haven't given it a 5.

We enjoyed a mini break at the Crowne Plaza for 3 nights, We had a newly renovated room which was large, comfortable and stylish. The bed was huge and very comfy and the room was very quiet. Breakfast was great and there were plenty of choices - even though it was included in our rate, the price is good compared to some hotels. The bar food and cocktails were lovely - the chicken wings were delicious. We had a High Tea which was also very good and super filling. I had a swim in the pool which was pleasant and we had a walk around the grounds before the torrential rains came and flooded the area. The staff were outstanding, so helpful and friendly, they seem to genuinely care about delivering great service and making our stay really pleasant.

We only stayed one night but were very comfortable. We booked a suite which was lovely with a separate sitting room with tiny balcony looking over the car park to the Blue Mountains, bathroom with a large egg shaped bath - the whole fresh and new looking. Fortunately we were staying on a Saturday night so the “fine dining” restaurant was open and we enjoyed an excellent meal. Only complaint about the evening was the air con in the restaurant and the reception area was too cold! The breakfast buffet was also good, we didn’t take anything cooked but it looked appetising.

Stayed Sun and Mon. Room comfortable, staff helpful, but felt that everything was done to give the guest as little as possible, only 2 teabags that were drinkable, instant nescafe. Think they were doing everything to make sure you ate in the bar or ordered room service. Fortunately we brought some of our own supplies.

No newspapers available. Very limited television options.

Sunday night was very noisy as there were obviously way too many people in the room next door, which had an adjoining door.

Breakfast leathery. Restaurant only open Fri and Sat nights. My meal at the bar was the highest priced, a curry, which was a couple of spoonfuls of watery soup with about 5 pieces of chewy lamb and a few tiny pieces almost raw potatoes. I did complain and the staff kindly took that off my bill.

Checkout. Check your bill. I did because the in room tally on the screen wasn't working. We were charged bar food and drinks on our second day that we didn't have. I think there might be some sort of scam going on (not by staff, maybe a racket by other bar patrons) because I was asked to write my room number personally on the docket, which I did, on the first day. Checkout staff accepted my protest, with someone else's signature, under my room number and name on the printout.

Came away feeling cheated. Could have stayed at a cheap motel and spent the money on better restaurants in Windsor, but we were looking for an all-in-one place experience, park and stay, at this lovely venue. Instead we were trapped.

My family of five stayed here during the Winter school holidays, cannot rate this place highly enough. The recently renovated room was light, bright and easily accommodated the five of us. The big bath tub was a hit with the kids. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The Crowne Plaza had several great kids focused activities for the holidays - a hot chocolate station in the foyer, Friday night fire pit and a special breakfast buffet treat station (chocolate fountain included). The indoor heated pool was clean and easily accessible.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, one of the best I've visited. Lots of hot food options, including cooked to order eggs and a pancake machine. The barista made coffee was also a welcome morning inclusion, the kids also enjoyed their hot chocolates.

Overall we loved our stay here and will stay again.

This is a lovely place, our room was fantastic, and our family also stayed in another 3 rooms with no complaints. The only thing I would suggest is that you request a room at the back of the property away from the main road - saying that it was not too bad. Staff are very friendly and helpful and terrific choice for breakfast. Lovely relaxed surroundings and walking distance to two golf courses
