Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A small busy (with Caravans) park with only a few cabins. Some of those look to be permanent. So not too many cabins for overnight hire. The Park is situated right on the banks of the Darling River. The cabin is a studio cabin with a Queen size bed and three bunks. A small narrow bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. There is a mirror, and a cupboard under the sink but no shelves or drawers, so not much storage. One towel rail and no hooks, nowhere to hang things i.e. towels, clothes etc. The bedroom can be cutoff from the kitchen/bunks by using a curtain. Plenty of storage in a small wardrobe. The bed is firm and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed. Small fridge, two burner electric cooktop with a small oven and a microwave. No tea, coffee or milk supplied. The bunks are small and not suitable for large adults. Airconditioner installed. Overall a fairly standard small cabin. Okay for a couple of nights but not for longer stays for more than one person. Recommended, with reservations.

Found ourselves camped here while waiting for roads north west to re-open after recent rains. Camping is right on the edge of the Darling river. Very peaceful. The managers, Tony & Ana, are very friendly and helpful. Amenities are kept very clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I was in the area.

We stayed at an unpowered site right at the rivers water edge. It was the best view. Tony and Ana were wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The park is so close to the Main Street with pubs and a club nearby.

Love staying here and have done so at least 3 times on a non powered camp site with my ute on the banks of the Darling River. Absolutely beautiful. Safe environment for solo women. Exceptionally clean amenties, park grounds and quite evening lifestyle. Walk to town and drive out to Mungo, Paddy Sand dunes and Lake Victoria. I stay here rather than Midura. Lovely owners.

We were greeted in a very friendly way by Donna on arrival, invited to park wherever we liked in the areas indicated, and found the sites level and grassy. Amentities block was spacious and clean, and there was a toilet closer that was handy at night, though the park is well-lit. We enjoyed hte ducks and ohter birds - and were most interested in the re-vegetation project, which means hte willows are not there now. We'd expected to park to be full and often staff in usch situations are busy and rushed, but although it wasn't full - and amazingly so, given beautiful weather - I the friendly staff we met would be professional even at busy times. The camp kitchen was the best we have seen - very up-to-date and we appreciated the big freezer we used to make our own ice. It's a beautiful quiet spot, but an easy walk to the town centre, even for someone with a slight disability. All in all, a lovely holiday and we will certainly be back.

Nice park but unfortunately we got our cars broken into and all our holiday cash stolen, they left digital cameras, ipads, iphones, anything that could be traced I suppose.Mongrels even took a childs birthday money.Who ever it was must have been watching for quite a while as we were sleeping in swags near car.So be very wary .

This is not the fanciest park we have stay in but it was one of the most relaxing. Stayed 3 nights in a powered caravan site right on the river. If we were any closer we would have been in it. Could easily have stayed a lot longer. There was hardly any traffic noise and no speed boats when we were there, lovely. The staff were very friendly and the price was great $25.00 a night, $40.00 a night or more for a similar site in other parks. A very peaceful park, will be back, no hesitation

One of the few parks to live up to its website advertising. as described, with plenty of clean facilities and good sites on the river. Friendly and helpful hosts, recommended. Plenty of birdlife & good walking tracks.

My experience at this caravan park was frightening. My friend and I were robbed while we were sleeping and lost a substantial amount of money. The cash was taken from our handbags inside our camper trailer and only cash was taken. We only discovered this when we left park to site see the next day.We reported to Police straight away.Apparently, this is not the first time that money has been stolen within the park. The Park owners showed no concern and in no way tried to help us in this devastating situation.Being two females we felt that we were targeted. We are regular travellers and have never had anything like this happen before.

I called in on the way home to Sydney and not only did I stay an extra few days I couldn't stop talking the guest were fabulous and so were the other people staying there. What a friendly environment and I thought those days were gone. According to some of the folk staying there the hosts work very hard and I have to say they certainly did while I was there. Full credit to you guys for having ago and it's plain to see you earn your $$$$$
I will call in again and I recommend this for all happy campers

Do the cabins have microwave ovens and do you have free internet. I will be there on Monday afternoon

Hello, just saw your question. As we stayed in our own caravan I can't tell you if there is or not a microwave but I'm sure you probably have found out for yourself by now. As for wifi I'm sure there wasn't any.
