What a gem! Faraway domes is your one stop relaxation spot. It’s completely isolated, perched on top of a gorgeous hill in the middle of no where. Just arriving here feels like a giant exhale - you can’t help but relax. Extremely well thought out and appointed. The facilities are of high quality and impressed us greatly. The out door bath was icing on the cake! Well played, far-away domes! We loved every minute of this tranquil escape. Thank you, we’ll be back!

If you're looking for a typical resort style holiday around the pool with a million kids and bar service, this is not for you! But if you're looking for a unique, romantic and authentically rural experience for two people you simply could not find a better place. Although it's a tent, (a massive dome tent) we have rarely experienced such luxury and stunning decor. Everything is first class and nothing is left wanting. The king size bed is extremely comfortable and other than the distant bleating of a few goats, there's simply no noise that's not natural.
An outdoor bath at night looking up at the Milky Way without any light pollution is something everyone should experience. We didn't use the plunge pool, it wasn't quite warm enough in September, but that would be delightful no doubt. We lit the fire pit one night and drank too much red wine, just the best!
The dirt track from the road to the Dome is bumpy and needs to be navigated with care, but that's part of the adventure, just don't take the fancy car!
This pace will not disappoint you. Book it!

We have just returned from 2 nights of pure relaxation at Faraway Domes. We planned our trip to coincide with the Spring Equinox and the universe didn't disappoint with spectacular sun and moon rises. This was the perfect location for us to recover from a recent move and was just 1 1/2 hour drive from home. The design is so clever and works so well, the bed is divine as is the bath that overlooks the landscape beyond. We will definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful two day stay at the Faraway Dome. It was incredibly well presented, extremely private and a little winter haven. The dome has everything you can possibly need and even a few walking trails.
We would definitely recommend the domes to people visiting, but advise those coming should travel by 4WD as the roads leading to the domes (roughly 20km) are very rough and bumpy.

This has been my favourite getaway by far. The decor was stunning, everything was very clean and words can't describe the location! We loved feeling like the only two people surrounded by nothing but nature and farm animals. We also loved cooking our own dinners, watching movies and having such a comfortable bed to sleep in! We both are into photography too and have all our friends dying to go now with our pictures.

We booked the north facing dome (dome 2) for two nights and it was FANTASTIC. The facilities were brilliant, equally anything I'd come across in apartments in the cities. Modern kitchen and bathroom - everything you need and more! We spent two glorious days hearing nothing but the sheep and goats....no other "human" noises at all. No phones, no noisy neighbours. We had breakfast on the deck with a rock wallaby / kangaroo and watched the sheep and goats play amongst the rocks.
We lazed around the deck all evening watching the sun set and the moon rise. And in the morning woke to the sunrise through the window. The pool was cool and refreshing and the bath on the deck outside was wonderful.
As they mention on the website, the access road in is a little challenging - definitely NOT for the fancy sports car, but the family sedan would make it. We did it with ease in our VW Tiguan.
If you are looking for a place to completely disconnect from the world and unwind, relax and reconnect with your partner this is THE place. This was the first time in years that I was truly able to disconnect and relax and not care about the crazy human world and just enjoy nature (while still having all the luxury of a fancy hotel/apartment)

Absolutely amazing!! This is a must for couples. We did take our 2 teenagers which the dome staff were great about (we packed swags for them) they loved it we loved it!! It was a great family bonding time. Make sure you bring all your food items and maybe a little more water if your kids are coming (we always take fresh water if we’re staying in the bush)
This was a lovely relaxing stay. I ordered the meditation plater, this was huge and we bought some home with us. 2 to 3 days is pretty good my kids went running every morning (early!) they loved the tracks and animals. We highly recommend this amazing place.

Everything from start to finish was amazing. The dome is absolutely miles away from anything but we kind of gathered that from 'Faraway' but just a PSA if you are thinking of going it is a drive and some of the roads aren't great. The interior has been designed beautifully, the four poster bed is amazing and I loved that there were so many seating options. The outside bath makes it, nothing will ever beat the view we had from there! We live in Sydney so it was absolute bliss to get away and reconnect with one another away from the stresses of life and Covid! I was expecting a very bog-standard glamping experience but it was so much more!! I can't put into words how amazing this place is. I will definitely be booking again

We stayed in dome 2 at the beginning of April for our 10th wedding anniversary for 3 nights. We had an amazing time relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet that the domes provide. Hats off to the owners who have created a luxurious adults only retreat. Coming from the city to the farm was just what we needed to recharge in complete relaxation. We didn’t see one person during our stay and enjoyed the views of the wildlife each day. This is exactly how we wanted to spend our anniversary ❤️
