Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This caravan park is a hidden gem,

Deciding to get off the road early, we chose to stay at the Quirindi Caravan Park.

We were met by Karen the friendly Park Manager and directed to our powered, drive through site.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the amenities block. There was ample hot water and the cubicles large enough to move freely. Complimentary shampoo and conditioner was available for each shower cubicle and liquid hand soap and paper towel available. A laundry and disabled bathroom completes the amenities block.

The park is adjacent to the local tennis, netball courts and sports oval, where you can exercise the "kids" and dogs, providing you do the right thing and pick up after our 4 legged friends.

Take the time to stay overnight in this lovely rural town..

Awesome wee place tucked in off the main town in town, short walk to the shops, land lady is super friendly. Have great amenity block with massive showers and clean toilets. The only thing to let it down is the camp kitchen, only cold water- hard to wash up, but aside from that, would highly recommend this place

Sites are good and easily accessible, good tv reception next to local playing fields. Short distance to centre of town with the amenities cleaned regularly but require an upgrade if park is to survive and see this as important to continue bring travelers to town

This is a nice little caravan park only a km from the main centre of town.
Drive through sites at $25 and premium sites with space enough for at least 2 caravans, at $30, is excellent value.

A great little BBQ area near the toilets is spacious and relaxing.
The ablution blocks have the biggest stalls I have seen, even the toilets.
They also provide the shampoo and conditioner in large bottles within the showers free of charge.

Karen, the caretaker, lives across the road and is polite and a pleasure to deal with.
A nice little retreat while you visit this lovely rural town.

Despite showing rates at the amenities for unpowered sites we were told only powered sites were available. I was also told that not every site had water. So here's the dilemma ... didn't need electricity but needed water but was directed to a site with power but no water.
Also all sites were extremely narrow fully concreted drive through sites. Hardly any grass.
Ammenities although clean were unpleasant. Hard plastic mats that you are expected to stand on. Aweful aweful aweful.
If you're looking for a caravan park with good services then my very strong advice is to look elsewhere.

Small, friendly caravan park, good drive through sites, the amenities are very clean and huge. Walking distance to everything, would stay here again. Well lite up at night, which is what I like, doesn't matter where you park your close to amenities, I would recommend it.

Many, perhaps most, of the power plug-ins were not working. The caretaker suggested I walk along the site with my phone charger, to see which ones still have power.
She only attends the site between 4pm and 6pm, so I never met her, and transacted via phone.
I could not find a berth that had both water and power.
Plenty of water pressure in the showers.
It's a small, neglected site, but at just $25 a night, you get what you pay for.

Dropped in at night, ranger didn't answer the phone, but plenty of people staying here.
site, we just picked one drive through, we just used power for our fridge as we were sleeping in our canopy on our ute. Plenty of light around . It is only a small park not many sites. Its next to an oval and it looks like you can have a pet under control. ten minute walk up to the small shopping centre. It is an easy enough walk.AMenities: The shower was nice and hot, bit tricky to start, just follow the instructions. NOt the cleanest shower as the scum was present on the tiles. But ok. Yes black mats to put down if you want to, the floor could be slippery a bit. Only issue i had was lights were not on earlier enough in this area. bit hard to see. Ladies had 2 toilets. clean enough.
There appeared to a cabin and what looked like small rooms close by the amenities. I would stay again. And yes i did pay even when the ranger didn't come while we were there. gave to another couple who was staying another night. Power was $25, not sure about unpowered.

A nice caravan park not far from the main street in Quirindi. The caravan sites are a bit narrow which limits fully extending an awning. The amenities block is clean and the showers are large with plenty of room. We found it a great place for a stop over when travelling south from Tamworth. Will go back there when heading back to Queensland next year.
