I usually stay at the Albert St Motel when in Moree but eat here, so I thought i would save time this trip and stay here too. Looking at the pictures on TripAdvisor I assumed the rooms were quite modern. Entering the room I was mistaken as I must have ended up with one of the older rooms. Perhaps the newer rooms attract a higher fee, again I assumed i was getting a modern room. It wasn’t bad, just a bit dated. The TV was a good size and I used it for my evening entertainment. Just a hint; people really should log out of Netflix when they stay somewhere ;) The beds were pretty comfortable and i think the sound of the Air Conditioner heating the room drowned out most of the traffic noise outside. I ate at the restaurant again. My request to change the meal slightly was not granted; i think they either didn’t relay to the kitchen or they prematurely gave me someone else’s meal; either way it was ok. Overall my stay was fairly enjoyable EXCEPT when it came to my shower. I turned the hot on halfway then adjusted with the cold - as i do at every hotel, however this shower had other ideas. It was almost like the taps were for show and the temps had a random setting every minute. At one stage i had the cold on full and it was still hot enough to make a cup of tea! Scalding hot one sec the freezing cold the next. I usually try and conserve water when I’m travelling but this made it difficult! Maybe back to Albert St next time?

Very comfortable motel with a great in-house restaurant and friendly staff. Motel was very busy while I was there but the service was still excellent. Staff always had a smile to offer and available to help in any way.

Stayed three nights and found the staff friendly and accommodating, I asked if I would be able to charge my hybrid electric from the room power was told not only that I could (only because I asked) but they were considering installing an electric vehicle charger, which I see as an indication that they are doing their best to keep up with the times. I'd do 4.5 stars if I could, but the age of the place is showing, and it is hard to keep a motel modern - the first indication we had of this was the difficultly in seeing the parking space lines that have worn away. The bathrooms had clearly been renovated at some time not too long ago, but silly design flaws like having a towel rail located so a hanging towel covered the toilet roll could have easily been avoided by raising the height of the rail about 30cm. The bed was comfortable, the A/C adequate, the TV was a good size, and the price was fair.

Lovely owners. Clean grounds. Room was tidy and clean. Air-con was turned on for our arrival. Modern appliances and bathroom. Pool (didn't use). Ample parking. Nice location. Netflix. Short drive or walk to CBD.

Sat and had dinner in the restaurant with a few people. On my arrival for dinner i was told i won't be getting a drink standing at the bar & was told to sit down, there was no please, the older woman just told me to sit down. The older woman seemed to be very rude. After eating the older womam got upset over having to split our bill. I will never stay at this motel again, terrible terrible customer service & dirty rooms.
