Detailed Reviews
Booked one night, stayed 2. Caryn and Mike superb friendly hosts, and the sites and facilities excellent value. They may be old as other reviewers have said, but they are spotless, functional, and if you want it upgraded just so it looks modern, then be happy to pay a modern price! As it stands this is a great place to stay, and we thoroughly recommend.

This park is now known as Moree Tourist Park.
Excellent park. Well maintained, clean, quiet. Large amenities , a bit dated but fully functional and very clean. Lots of hot water. Has 2 pools one for adults only which is great . Beautiful heated spa pool. We had a large drive through site and good grassy sites and bitumen roads so no dirt or dust. Is still pet friendly at the moment but owner did say he was thinking of stopping that because some people don’t obey the rules and let their dogs wander and bark. If that is you please stop as you make it hard for the rest of us travelling with our pets.
I would definitely stay here again and photos definitely represent what you get , not like some other places you stay.

We came into town for two weeks and stayed at Mehi caravan park while working on the rails. Mike was super helpful and made us feel at home right away. He was always friendly and welcoming on each contact.
The park has a homely feel, with all the facilities being clean and well looked after. Mike puts in a tremendous amount of effort into maintaining the grounds -we’re looking forward to coming back and seeing the expansion of the park in the near future. Thanks for a great stay Mike!

Very quick trip to get back across the Qld border just before Christmas 2021 and needed a bed to wait for our negative Covid results. Just as we'd finished unpacking into our cabin our results arrived so we quickly repacked our car and had to bolt for the border. The lovely manager offered us a full refund, as we hadn't be there even one hour. We offered to pay something because we had to make some lunch then wash up our dishes afterwards. Both parties happy we departed. Our cabin was very clean and had everything we would have needed had we stayed overnight. The pool looked inviting and the grounds lovely. Our car even had a shade covering.

We spent two nights at this very tidy, well run van park, which is spacious, has very clean amenities and a very good enclosed camp kitchen. It also has a large bbq area. We would have no hesitation in recommending this park to anyone staying in Moree.

We just spent a night at Moree in the Mehi River Van Park and would totally recommend staying there. The owner are so help welcoming and friendly. Nothing was any trouble to them. Amenities were clean and the van sites really spacious so you didn’t feel crammed in like most van parks.

Stayed 1 night in a cabin down the back. Ladies running the park very nice and friendly. Had a very relaxed feel to the place. Children loved the pool and there was plenty of space to play within the park confines. Cabin was of a good size and reasonably clean. If you are not too picky and like a relaxed atmosphere it is a good place to stay, just on the edge of town near the Gwyder Hwy.

Recently stayed 3 nights at Mehi River Park. This was our second visit and so glad we came back. The drought has taken it's toll on the grass and vegetation but the sites are huge and well shaded. The temperature was in the 40s and the lady in the office was lovely and told us we could choose our own site, wherever we felt was the best shade! Amenities were spotless and there are 2 small pools..........1 thermal and 1 cool. The park is just around the corner from Moree's amazing Aquatic Centre which has fabulous pools of varying degrees and a great kid's area and a waterslide.

Having spent one night in a park where there could well be bodies and another in a park that reeked of sewerage, this was a welcome respite. We actually booked an extra night.
Moree Tourist Park is safe, well-managed and welcoming. There are quaint, cheery murals throughout and a gate down to the river.
I used the swimming pool as well as the hot and cold spa pools. They were clean and refreshing. The amenities including a laundry and camp kitchen are well-equipped and spotless.
Sites are large, flat and well cared for. The grounds are also much loved. We have decided to make this our go-to stopover when travelling. Kudos to the managers.

Thank you 😃 We were hours late after booking our site and were kind enough to let us take our pick of sites and pay in the morning. Our family had a very enjoyable stay. The whole park was very clean and tidy. Very clean amenities block. Pet friendly a bonus. We would definitely stay there again.
