We stayed for 2 nights with our Motorhome in December. It was just prior to the Christmas holiday break and we had a choice of sites. The location is pleasant and the addition of the artesian spa and regular pool is great. The location is a short walk from Maslina restaurant which is excellent. Also close by are bike and walking paths that circuit the town and is a great way to see Moree and Mehi river Like many Caravan Parks it could benefit from a little renovation however after a challenging few years that is to be expected.
Brilliant experience. Our van was undercover which was terrific and it was nice to be out of the centre of town. The artesian spa pool was amazing and the campsite clean and tidy. Nice and quiet. Toilet/Shower facilities were clean. Would recommend!
We just spent a night at Moree in the Mehi River Van Park and would totally recommend staying there. The owner are so help welcoming and friendly. Nothing was any trouble to them. Amenities were clean and the van sites really spacious so you didn’t feel crammed in like most van parks.
The cabins were sad. The covering on the steps had worn out. The timber on the verandah had peeling paint and cracked timbers. The bed linen had stains on it and the pillow cases were faded. The bathroom door didn't open fully so you had to open it a bit and then go in and shut it before being able to access the tiolet. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have slept on ever. Everything seemed worn out and needing a refresh.
Booked a villa for $95 per night. Thought it would be nicer than what it was. Only curtains on one side of cabin. Glass door latch broken and hard to latch. Screen door doesn't close and latch properly. Glass sliding door doesn't close smoothly, tracks need attention. Sewerage smell from dump point opposite cabin a bit offensive.
