We treated ourselves to the 4 for 3 deal in Glass Cottage and absolutely loved it. Being winter we took the chill off the air when we arrived with the RC air con but soon needed only the fire for the whole cottage to be toasty warm for four days. Thanks to Rob for the generous supply of well seasoned firewood. The full kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom a thing of beauty, and the rural outlook from anywhere in the cottage refreshing. Walks on dusk were bracing, peaceful and beautiful. Everything considered Glass Cottage would have to be the best AirBnB style accommodation I’ve stayed in.

We stayed in West Studio for a couple of nights and just loved the quietness and peaceful atmosphere. Great property with lots of animals and it was just nice to take a walk around the property. Beautiful sunset on the first night as well. Everything was provided that you need for a few days stay. Close to Gulgong shopping centre and only a fifteen minute drive into Mudgee so nice and close to everything. Would recommend this lodge to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Mudgee area.

Wow, I feel like I won’t write this well enough to convey how happy we were with our stay. From the easy and seamless booking through to checkout, we had the most amazing stay here. My husband and I with our two children, stayed in one of the modern shearer’s cottages. From the moment we drove into the driveway, we felt an immediate sense of peace. Once unpacked, we took a stroll up the country driveway, we stopped to chat to the gorgeous friendly animals in the paddocks along the way. The accomodation was immaculately clean, spacious, & every single little thing had been thought of. The beds were so comfortable, heating was perfect on a cold night, the toiletries provided were of top quality & smelt gorgeous. We were lucky enough to be the only ones there on this occasion, & the family time was beautiful. The pool looks it would be lovely in summer with a wide deck, with views right over the countryside. There was a lovely fire pit area behind our accomodation, with a good supply of wood available. It was a quick drive into Gulgong for dinner, & an easy 20min drive into Mudgee the next day for our sporting commitments. We will 100% be back again, & would highly recommend Owl Head Lodge to anyone. …

What a magnificent place! The perfect venue for a group of old school friends to meet up after more than 30 years. We each had our own "cottage" so we had privacy when wanted plus a comunal hub in a central cottage. Wonderful views, beautiful sunrises, well stocked and very clean,, we couldn't have found better. Friendly staff as well. Different people in our group are already planning to go back. Whether for a couple, family gathering or friends, this is a great find!

Could not recommend this accomodation more, absolutely amazing and 20 mins drive out of Mudgee which is fantastic! Beautiful accomodation with beautiful views! Fantastic for a girls trip away and also perfect for a family holiday and amazing communication with the owners!

My husband and I stayed in the west cottage a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The cottage had everything we needed and was so quiet and peaceful. The sunsets were amazing and loved walking around to say hello to all the animals on the property. It was only a 15 minute drive from Mudgee but far enough away from the crowds. Would definitely recommend Owl Head Lodge you anyone looking for somewhere beautiful to stay in the area.

The lodge has various styles of accomms that are so well suited to groups. All are comfortable and super clean with great amenities and in a beautiful rural setting. The owners make you feel right at home, even stacking the fire for us. The rates are very reasonable and the location close enough to town for a brisk walk in . Will come back again

We rented a gorgeous Studio for 3 nights. It was luxurious, comfortable and had everything we ever needed. It has been so well maintained it looked very new. The entire Owls Head property is tranquil and well maintained. We appreciated our Rate matched to the lower Online Loyalty rate we had. Parking in front of entry was very easy. The villa was separate snd private from neighbouring 2 villas. Kitchen was spacious with dishwasher and extensive equipment. Large bathroom with washing machine in too was very appreciated. Pegs supplied too. Easy washing effort. Linens and towels supplied. We loved easy closeness to amazing Gulgong. A very interesting Gold Mining Town with the best Tourist drawcards. The Holtermann Museum and the Pioneer Museum were outstanding. Great Retail options whilst retaining an historical Town vibe.…

hut was fantastic, sat outside on porch and had a few drinks, used the Barbeque .the rooms were large sofa's and beds very comfortable and everything was spotless when we arrived. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area.
