We had such a lovely stay at this spot recently, right in Blackheath and in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Beautify accommodation, friendly attentive hosts and very clean rooms. Will definitely come back again.

Lovely guesthouse with friendly managers (soon to be moving on....sad). The room was lovely but, I hesitate to say this, no tv was a minus....I know, I know, we shouldn't be addicted but it would have been nice. Breakfast topped up by friendly Rowan was nice but very basic...fine if scrambled eggs and bacon are your thing but a choice...

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of two nights at Glenella Guest House and found the experience delightful. Ideally located close to Blackheath Village, staff were extremely friendly and owners Margaret and Rowan made us feel very welcome. Glenella has a rich history which Rowan was happy to share with us in front of the log fire in...

Beautiful late Victorian guesthouse situated very close (30 seconds walk) from Blackheath village. Friendly welcoming staff, well appointed, nice garden, warm & quiet. Decent breakfast, large sitting room with fire. Recommended.

I stayed at Glenella as part of an Auswalk walking trip, so this accommodation was chosen for us. On arrival, it was a cold, rainy afternoon and the lights inside were such an inviting sight. The fire had been lit, and Rowan was a most welcoming host. The whole stay turned out to be such a wonderful experience - warm,...

A pleasure to return to this marvellous bed and breakfast guesthouse in Blackheath village. Perfectly located for access to the Blackheath restaurants, cafes, shops and train station. And for exploring the Blue Mountains region. Very comfortable rooms and guest lounges in a beautiful heritage Federation building and log fires in the colder months add to the ambience. Your hosts Margaret...

Rowan and Margaret are consummate hosts - friendly and accommodating, enthusiastic but not overpowering. Charming heritage building and cosy rooms. Verandahs and sitting room offer delightful features. Blackheath's best kept secret! We will be back next opportunity.

Stayed a couple of nights - comfortable room and easy to get around Blackheath from this location. Breakfasts were good with hot food, cereals and fruit. We look forward to returning in the future to explore more.

And only a short drive to Evans Lookout, Govetts Leap, Megalong Valley and the charming Rhododendron Gardens. Margaret, Rowan, Indi and Matt are warm, welcoming and friendly.
