Recently stayed four nights at Paika Station with eight friends. What a wonderful experience. Made ourselves right at home in the country kitchen and enjoyed an open fire in the living area each night. Beds were comfy and warm. Sunsets over the lake were delightful.
Our accommodation overlooked Lake Paika which has only had environmental flows again since 2012 from the Murrumbidgee River. The bird life was amazing and the location was so peaceful and relaxing. We based ourselves here for the weekend using it to tour Mungo National Park. …
We really enjoyed the stay right on the lake. Our meals were excellent value and cooking facilities good. The friendliness of Diane and Ian made the holiday a memorial experience. Thanks for your hospitality and a good time was had by us.
