Clean country style park right on the Murrumbidgee river. Sites are clean and large. Amenities are old but extremely clean. There is a communal fireplace but you can have your own as long as fully contained off the ground. Pricing for powered site is $30.00 - not bad. Short walk to town. This is our 2nd stay and we will differently stay again
Great little caravan park. Very friendly manageress, very clean facilities and easy drive through sites. Park is within easy walking distance of main Street and hotel and take aways. Can recommend Chicken Palmy from the pub.
Stay here with some friends loved every minute .Saturday we explored the town and its history with a tour it’s col through the southern cross museum then tanga homestead and wool shed then home bush pub all worth a visit.Anna at the caravan park was very informative being a local nothing was to much trouble ,very clean amenities and unit ,grounds are neat and green would highly recommend this park we will definitely be back
We pulled in to balranald after a long days travel. The Park was on the river so it was very pretty. The trucks were a bit noisy at first but quietened down during the night. In fact it was a very peaceful place to stay. We checked in late which wasnt anissue at all. We had our own van but thydid havea few cabins scattered around the grounds. would highly recommend staying here.
Stay for Christmas great little park so glad it’s now run by local people who have knowledge of the towns history very friendly staff beautiful green grounds and very clean ammenities well worth a visti
Can recommend this clean and friendly caravan park. It’s a great spot for a few days, convenient to walk to the town centre and some lovely walks by the river. Owners and staff walk all very friendly and helpful, especially when our awning was damaged in a storm while we were offsite. They went above and beyond to make sure we were ok and we had everything we needed. Very caring of all their visitors. Can be a bit noisy with traffic if you have a site near the main road but other than that we couldn’t fault it.
Stayed one night in our caravan , toilets clean but that's about it. No longer has managers and is run by council lawns overgrown bbq's not cleaned , swimming pool filthy. Had people drive late at night and left before the shire opened up. No managers onsite overnight so no security. And no lighting in the park.
Wow the Shire strikes again, due to bully/harassment from Senior staff the current managers have left. The shire is already under administration, the new General Manager has resigned and the caravan park is going back out for lease,,good luck Balranald
We stayed there on Friday night. Lovely warm cabin, very comfortable double bed. Management very friendly. Clean and tidy surrounds on the bank of the river. We will be back for a longer stay next time.
Easy check in. Campervan accomodation for us. Grounds are natural and this park is very popular. Swipe card for amenities from 6pm - 8am. Only one per check in. Camp kitchen and dining are ok. Cinderella doesn’t work there. They should get Mrs Doubtfire to clean the filters in the range hood though it’s time. Everything provided
