We had a great time here and the owner is really nice & helpful. It cost £16 for me and the wife for 1 night. Plenty of space and not too busy. Good shower facilities which are free but 20p for family shower for 10 minutes. Can't wait to go back, nice break from the kids. Strongly recommend the frankland...

Camped here on day 2 of family cycle of SDW. It's very close to the Way so a convenient stop. Great shower block including laundry room. Ashington is close with great Fish and Chips (Golden Plaice), as is South Down Bikes in Storrington, I need spare tubes.

A pleasant site in convenient location by car. No shops nearby so you'll need to pack enough food or drive to get more. Don't go to The Frankland Arms for food as it's awful. Facilities on site very good, clean etc. Lots of green space for pitching, kids etc.

As a single female this site is very friendly welcoming helpful and suitable for all. Good shower and toilet facilities. Washing machine and dryer. Plenty of great walks, countryside, barbecue areas, fire pits well away from the caravans so you won't be distributed by late night campers, plus the site rules no noise after 11pm. Kids playing field, and safe...

This campsite was enhanced by it's communal bonfire with a stack of wood that could be used. The grounds were fine but you needed to find somewhere flat unless you like sleeping on a slope! There is a paid-for 'family' shower which took 20p, otherwise there weren't that many showers and it involved queuing.

My friends and i have stayed at this campsite on more than one occasion for a boozy outdoors catch up. Where we understood we may be noisier than some campers, we had been offered the choice to stay in an extra field so that we could enjoy ourselves and not disturb anyone else(which we found very accommodating). The facilities are...

We stayed here for one night in June. Good facilities and friendly welcome - nice grassy area for tents. Easy to find just off the A24. Easy access for Worthing and Brighton. Nice pub just down the road.

Visited on numerous occasions taking teenagers on their d of e, however visited withstanding. Friend this weekend to go walking on the South Downs. Very freindly owner, cost £32 for 2 nights, 2 people camping. Not bad really. South Downs trail within about 5 minutes walk, very easy to get to. Clean camp site (yes a little dated, but it's...

Nice campsite with loads of options for tent or caravan location. Lovely owner. Dated but clean facilities with hot water and good lighting etc. Average only because of facilities and cost. Compared against Peak District or Welsh sites it is definitely only average. Toilets could use seats rather than wooden blocks (ergh!).

Stopped for a night on Saturday. The site is a large field with plenty of room, the hard standing are quite close together giving little privacy. The facilities are good & fairly clean if a little dated. Electricity & showers are chargeable there's good washing up facilities & washing machines. You can also bbq on this site. The welcoming was...
