Typical Travelodge, good value, good location. ease of check in etc. rooms ok comfortable enough. The only issue was that the closure of the adjacent Little Chef sent the majority of the 'white van man' residents to any takeaway they could find. The smell of garlic, onions and food in general was quite overpowering. To be expected I suppose but...

Cheap and cheerful room. Massive bed with too plump pillows for me to use! Very clean. Just a shame the only options to eat on site were Burger King, Little Chef, BP garage and breakfast boxes (£4.99 I think).

We booked this as a last minute night away after spending the day in Brighton. We were checked in by a lovely member of staff, however, when we got to the room the cot we requested through central reservations hadn't been put in the room because it was awkward with the space...then why offer the facility?? The room was overly...

Friendly helpful staff. Clean warm room & good size for a family of 4. Paid extra for 24hr wifi but dissappointed that it was limited to only 2 devices. Mattress very uncomfortable. I could feel the springs.

The accommodation was good and clean, good value for money. All basic needs catered for. Easy directions to rooms. Easy to find Travel lodge although directions are misleading, they take you to the Hickstead Hotel!

The Travel lodge room was clean and airy and all was in good working order. The kettle helped as I arrived late and this enabled me to have a hot drink before bed. The car park was scruffy and the entrance to the Travel Lodge difficult to find. There was no restaurant for breakfast but at least there is a...

At first glance I didn't expect much but the room was clean and comfortable, The staff were friendly and helpful. Avoid the burger king opposite though! Go to the fuel station instead! It's 24hr and has everything you need.

I really enjoyed my stay. I had asked for and was indeed facilitated with a quiet room. (I has just left hospital.) All the members of staff I came in contact with were friendly and seemed keen to ensure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The room and hotel generally was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I...

Lovely and clean, comfy beds. The best part of the trip was the receptionist! After having problems with our taxi (where they charged us three times what they promised) she spoke to them and sorted us out one for near the original price. Couldn't say thank you enough, saved our night.
