Travelling with a companion in a wheelchair can be awkward and tiring, but the staff here were unfailingly helpful, with luggage in particular. Our accessible room on the ground floor was spacious with a large wet room, and the room service excellent. A good full English breakfast followed, and though we had to vacate by 11, we were made more...

I stayed with my teen daughter here one night. Very quiet despite being near reception, very comfortable beds, neat rooms and clean bathroom. Varied in hotel restaurant with nice selection. We had room service and cod and chips as well as healthy salads, both equally fresh and good size servings. Prompt in bringing us a heater as the heating was...

I stayed 3 nights for business. Really nice change from the large hotels I'm used to in London - far more personal and attentive. Nice atmosphere in the lounge and bar and the breakfast were made to order, again far better than the usual buffet many hotels offer. Thoroughly recommend this hotel

Let's start outside very well presented building. Good parking and nice appearance. Inside is very nice. reception staff very good. Nice bar area but very small. The rooms are ok. Bit over priced for the accommodation. But overall good. The hotel doesn't have a gym on site but have a membership with a local gym called switch which was very...

I stayed in the hotel in preparation for a business appointment. The hotel is massive but is very tired. In fairness there was some upgrading works taking place so it may improve. However the room I was in wasn't upgraded and looked dated. The room was clean and the shower good. Breakfast was pretty ample, a bit greasy and some...

Had a short three night stay to visit a few of the local gardens. We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival, before being directed to our room which was situated on the ground floor in the newer wing. The room itself was clean, comfortable and well appointed, but lacked natural light due to having to keep the blinds...

As a single female away for work I found my room to be extremely small and bed a child would fit in, but not an adult. I'm only 5ft 7 but my feet stuck out the end of my bed making this a very unpleasant experience. Dinner was included and even through the restaurant was busy the waiting staff were...

Had a great one night's stay - twin room was clean and a good size, nice size beds, bathroom was freshly redecorated with lovely shower and mini toiletries, and a selection of tea and coffee in the room. Room was quite warm but we could open the windows and there was a portable fan in the wardrobe so this wasn't...
