What a wonderful evening spent at The Elmer Pub with an extremely warm welcome from Sue and Colin - the pub's hosts. The food was superb - we opted for the Brie wedges to start and the lamb rump and salmon for our main. The food was all cooked to perfection with plenty of fresh vegetables and salad - also...

Food is just fabulous staff are so friendly and helpful! Nothing is to much trouble! The regulars are lovely and of all ages! The hotel is delightful!! I guess you can't please everybody all of the time but in my families experience we have never been disappointed but maybe some people are just not used to fine dining!! Highly recommended!

We were having a lovely meal at the Elmer when a large family party arrived. I was shocked at how the staff and other customers treated the group with their children. It was not only rude and disgusting but bigoted and I will not be returning to such an establishment. Was this even legal in this day and age??

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable and a little bit cosy. Bathroom was large with bath and a shower fitted to taps, still very refreshing &...

This is a very friendly pub with a lot of local customers. One of the reasons is that they provide excellent reasonably priced food. I have been here several times and never had a poor meal. The liver and bacon is particularly good. They must have a chef who really cares. For a pub owned by Fuller's brewery it must...

Back again for a one night business stay. Ordered the Chicken fajitas. Advised not to have the starter - good job. Food - Gorgeous and reasonably priced. Wine - Gorgeous - and reasonably priced. Can't say enough about this place Why don't they have a six star rating? Dave Watts.
