I do tend to eat out a lot, at a wide variety of places from Maccy D's to Michelin starred places. My family and I went here for Sunday lunch. £14.95 for three courses and frankly I was amazed at how good the standard was for that price. I'd have paid twice that. Aside from the food the decor of...

We held our Company Xmas Do here this year and had a really good night. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Food was great. Good disco. Would definitely book again. We didn't use the hotel rooms only the bar and restaurant but clean and tidy in all the areas we used.

Room was clean but in need of modernisation. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was ok good shower though. Nobody at reception when we returned at midnight so had to help are self's to room key which made me question security as anybody could have helped themselves to a key.

Stayed for a Friday night out in November. Had room at front but smoke alarm was beeping intermittently. Staff could not have been more helpful. Moved us to another room and offered a free breakfast for our trouble. An oldish hotel, but good value for money and in centre of town. Friday and Sat night could be noisy if you...

Along with about 25 colleagues I attended a Christmas Party evening at The Rugby Hotel, the food was no better than average. The atmosphere was quite good but that was more to do with attendees than the hotel. Drinks were again on the expensive side and there was no table service, we had to go out to the bar to...

I stayed in this hotel for one week in October. I came in the night and and got a room on the first floor. The room was old and very cold, but next day they gave me a small electric heater so the temperature was ok for me. Loud!!! every evening until 10PM there is a very loud music from...

This is a very nice hotel with great potential, just a shame that Dave behind the bar will steel your money. Best advice is to give correct money, if you do not you will massively over pay for your drinks.

Booked a nights stay for business as close to location following day. The front and downstairs are lovely- feel of an old coach Inn, staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful which is always a plus. Nice bar and lounge area, and I suspect evening food will be nice, but there was literally no one in the bar, so headed off...

I stayed in a single room at this hotel at the beginning of october for a party that I was going to in rugby. The entrance and communal areas of the hotel are lovely and well decorated. there is a cosy bar which is great for a quick drink before you go out. Also it is in the city centre...
