Good food , not a massive menu , but cooked nicely , hot and fresh . We all enjoyed what we had , chocolate brownie was hot and sticky , carpark is quite tight to get out of , only downside to mention

We've visited the Hillmorton Manor for their Sunday evening carvery a few times now, and have always enjoyed our meal. The most recent visit was the best yet, with five meat available to choose from. Beef, Gammon, Lamb, Pork and Turkey. We tried 4 out of the 5 and all were good. There's also an excellent selection of vegetables to...

The welcome was not very welcoming, it was more like why have you come to disturb me for. The room very shabby, needs to be done up one ceiling lamp not working, headboard dirty. Bed comfortable and clean so far that's is a upside. The bathroom was mouldy and tatty, with limited size towels. Be warned that in the booklet...

This is another great venue, with friendly staff who help make you feel at ease. The food is brilliant and without fault. You fill your plate from a great menu. I'm surprised the restaurant isn't bigger as it's very popular.

Very nice and friendly atmosphere. Lovely food and quick service. Just a shame that the toilets are upstairs which makes it very difficult for my elderly mum. But otherwise really love the place. Great Sunday lunch.

Off to a good start I thought with scampi n chips for lunch on Saturday, served by a lovely waitress. We were given the key to our room, room 1. It all went downhill so quickly my ears popped. A fair sized double room but worn and tatty. Paint peeling from behind the radiator where there has been a leak....

My wife and I booked a Saturday night stay at Hillmorton Manor due to its price and closeness to Silverstone, as we were attending the MotoGP race the next morning. After checking in at the reception/bar, we proceeded up to room #1, which was just at the top of the stairs, with two windows facing out over the pub's garden...
