We stopped off at the Millers hotel for a meal. It is a very nice place. The food was quite reasonable with a good choice. They have a "cheaper" menu with basic meals starting from £4.99. There is a working water wheel in the restaurant area which is an interesting feature.

Stayed one night between Christmas and New Year. Hotel was pretty quiet so not a lot of atmosphere though, to be fair, the period between Christmas and New Year is usually quiet when you are out. Hotel rooms are adequate rather than anything special but we were paying a discounted price so they provided very good VFM. Slept well. We...

Check in: On arrival, after emailing and confirming an early check in, the manager of the hotel took great pleasure (sat back in his chair, arms crossed, all smug) in telling us we couldn't check in for another 3 hours. Once we explained that he should take a look on the notes of our booking as we had arranged an...

The hotel allows dogs which was a must for us on this visit. Dined in the restaurant in the evening and the service, menu and meals were very good. Will stop here again when visiting...

This is a small hotel in the Old English Inn group owned by Greene King Brewery. It is warm and welcoming and we enjoyed a good meal from an interesting and varied menu. Our room was spacious and well furnished and generally comfortable and even the A42 outside was not too intrusive. Rates were very reasonable and the friendly and...

Dropped in for an early supper with our two young daughters. They were amazed by the mill inside the restaurant. Food was lovely and was served to perfection. The wine list was one of the best I've ever experienced within the area and I was highly impressed with my Malborough. Good work the millers. Oh and the staff were amazing....
