What a fabulous experience. The service, ambience and food were all excellent. Our waiter was attentive and really great.
The food was superb and priced really well. We shared a Camembert for starters and both had mini fish and chips and it was beautiful.
Come here for drinks and always enjoy the atmosphere. Can get quite busy of an evening but the staff handle it very well and never left waiting long. Cosy, candlelit, old fashioned country pub. Will return again and again.

Our second visit here for afternoon tea for my mums birthday and just as wonderful as the first time. Staff friendly, food amazing (absolutely loads of it), cakes delicious. Finished off with a couple of gins from the great gin menu. Couldn't have been better.
