Comfortable bnb, LOVELY generous kind staff, So accommodating considering our 20 person reservation. Hotel was perfectly central considering our polo club was a 5 minute drive. Central to so many cute cafes and restaurants. Quintessential English village.

If you want a reasonably priced comfortable night's sleep with friendly staff, good food, good beer and a very spacious, secure car park, then this is perfect. The welcome is warm and the beds are comfortable. Lucy is making an excellent job of managing this pub. This pub is very old and is not perfect but we choose to stay...

Having struggled to get accomodation on what appeared to be a busy weekend we booked into The Green Man ,had we looked at the rooms before being asked to pay we would have turned round and run !! Room is not advertised as single is advertised as Twin and has bedside cabinet with lamp, tea & coffee etc. Room isn't big enough for wardrobe but have coat hangers on wall which every other customer prefers. Beds are new replace less than a week before your stay (strange how you couldn't see that)

As we walked through the side entrance door and up the stairs we gulped at the tired and dirty stair carpet but our booking had already been made and we were obliged to honour the telephone booking and pay our dues up front. We were in room 3 and immediately noticed that the ceiling in the en suite had mould...

We'd 12th Oct , had a lovely lunch ,the pie was superb but why are pies always topped with a puff pastry which just dissolves to nothing when it comes into contact with gravy .Shortcuts is so much better. The black and blue burger was cooked to perfection as were the chips. My only complaint was the Eton mess sundae...

We for a big family meal to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We were the ones with the Storm Troupers cake!!!! The food was excellent. There was a delay with a couple things but they compensated us with a discount on desserts which was lovely. Our waitress was great and nothing was too much trouble, she was running around the...

Had the most horrific experience here - with being threatened with Police action should I not pay for a meal that did not get served! A most vitriolic and abusive Barmaid who needs to check her mouth before being allowed the priviledge of serving the public. Would NOT risk this place again. A day utterly ruined.
