I stayed on a business trip with colleagues. For that, on a Thursday night, it was fine. As a business guest the view from the room into the side of a marquee does not matter. Nailcote feels like one of this breed of wedding venues that I personally would avoid as a private guest at weekends. I doubt you would...

Very happy with the way the staff at Nailcote helped conduct our engagement party. We had 100 guests and the way the event was managed was second to none. Although the weather was freezing in March and we had the marquee no one felt the cold weather- the room was well insulated and heated. Michelle was great throughout the whole...

I have played golf at this venue many times and have always found the par 3 course to be in excellent shape. After 18 holes the cosy bar is an excellent place to recharge you batteries!! My partner and I have also had sumptuous evening meals in the inviting Oak Room Restaurant and would recommend this without hesitation. The party...

This was a lovely two days spent here on a work conference. Setting is good with nine hall well used golf course on the door step. Facilities were very good and period decor . I was lucky enough to have a four poster bed and large room with lovely bathroom even though I was staying in the room on my...

We won a stay at this hotel in a charity raffle and had the best time. Room was traditional, comfortable and really nice. Very clean. Leisure facilities were good. Particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi, sauna and swimming pool. Staff were fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. Only downside was the breakfast. My haddock was overcooked, dry and tasteless. Husband had a great...

The receptionist barely acknowledged us when we checked in, she handed a bit of paper to us when we enquired about wi-fi access forgetting to mention the network we had to choose. She struggled to remember what was on the breakfast menu, what I was served was not what I expected. All the other staff we dealt with were friendly,...

My friend and I had a fabulous evening at the Diana Ross Tribute night. Our meal was delicious, perfectly cooked and well presented. The music was brilliant and the dance floor rocked. A great night and we are so looking forward to our next visit.

Had a company party here for a large group. It's a quaint, old fashioned hall hotel that caters for a multitude of events. The staff offer a great service and the gardens are lovely in the summer. There is also a good golf course if you enjoy playing.

Me and three friends visited 18th October for golf and lunch. All staff, as usual courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. Shared a bacon butty with the owner Rick Cressman who joined us for coffee and is always the perfect host and gentlemen. Lunch was excellent with THE tastiest chocolate brownie I've ever tasted! Hopefully go again before christmas for the...
