Was going to stop off at The Bridge at Pierrepont yesterday afternoon for a coffee as we were in the area, but The Bridge is no more. The Bridge has closed down and the site is now being redeveloped for housing. ( Although The Bridge is no more, I had to put a rating to be able to post this...

I met up with a group of friends for lunch. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful; it is a lovely place to be. The staff were friendly and chatty as we chose our meal at the counter and ordered. The food was all home made and absolutely delicious and good value too. I would definitely go back.

I stayed here with my husband a couple of weeks ago as we were attending a wedding at another hotel just up the road. Upon reading the reviews, I was hesitant to book but took a chance anyway...and we were actually pleasantly surprised! The staff were all very helpful and efficient, the breakfast was lovely and the room was really...

We were told on arrival our room was closed for maintenance so was given room no. 13 defiantly unlucky for us, carpets stained really bad all over, wall paper peeling on every wall, damp patch large patch, on ceiling and artec coming away because of it, beds rock hard, and it was really dismal, bathroom had a glass in it,...

Myself and a group of friends booked the Bridge at Pierpoint to stay after a wedding. It was close to the venue. £30 in a taxi. The rooms my friends and I had were awful. Insects everywhere, curtains that didn't close, holes in the walls, odd pieces of wood screwed to the wall. Generally in bad repair and desperately in...

Overall we had no real complaints with the Bridge. Yes there was some slightly negative aspects but for what we wanted (somewhere to come back to after a wedding) it was fine. We stayed 2 nights in room 10 - a triple room which was handy as we didnt want the expense of another room for our 17 yr old...

My partner and I recently visited The Bridge for Sunday lunch. I can honestly say it was the worst Roast I have ever eaten. Menus were scruffy with coffee stains, cutlery was dirty or at least hadn't been polished up. No salt/pepper on table. Table sticky. Starter was fine. Main course - Roast beef...which part of the horse was it...

The Bridge is local to me, it use to be a lovely place to go for Luncheon or Afternoon Tea, sadly this is NOT the case anymore! Standards have really slipped and despite having tried, The Bridge again and again and again, hoping that things would have got better they haven't. I have written to them directly before and complained...

Me and my partner were cautious of staying at The Bridge because of previous reviews written, however we decided to give it a chance. Firstly, on the way to our room, we noticed the floors were creaking, the walls were damp and that the whole hotel needed a lick of paint. The room did not feel welcoming, it was plain...
