A stunning medieval cottage dating back to 1440 is the oldest dwelling in the busy village of Williton. Situated on the A39 with easy access to Exmoor and the Quantock hills. A short distance from the Bristol channel it has everything on your doorstep. There are 3 guest bedrooms one double en suite. One King en suite and a king with private bathroom. All located on the first floor. One room has a smart TV and the other 2 rooms share a stunning sitting room downstairs with TV. Arden Cottage has recently been completely refurbished. With original elm beams returned to their natural amber colour. Original floorboards sanded to reveal the grain throughout most of the first floor. Breakfast is taken in the entrance hall with a wide choice for you to order with delicious eggs from my own hens and a selection of home made preserves and all cooked on an Aga. There is limited parking, more on the street close by. I cannot accept pets and do have 2 spaniels and a cat. A large garden with patio.

This is a well-run bed and breakfast in a restored 1400s longhouse. Accommodation is clean and comfortable, and the scrumptious breakfasts include smoked salmon and fresh eggs from the family hens. Very convenient for walks in the Somerset countryside and for visiting residents

We have just had a lovely stay at Arden Cottage. Jane and Paul are so friendly and welcoming, the room was gorgeous, breakfast was delicious (and we vegetarians were offered as much choice as the meat eaters). They were very friendly to our dog, Benji, and looked after him for

It is really lovely to read how much you enjoyed your recent stay with us at Arden Cottage and how you appreciated the vegetarian choice we offer. It's always good to see our Guests return to us as it shows we are getting things right. It was a pleasure to see you all again and to hear what you've been up to since your last visit a couple of years ago. Benji settled in again easily and soon found his way around. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
