this is a nice hotel for a special occasion, lovely grounds to explore and breakfast is good!! Dinner is good and well presented, drinks are rather expensive! but very relazing and staff very friendly, especially oscar the cocker spaniel who is happy to show you around the grounds!

Stayed at this superb hotel as we were attending a wedding at Babington House. We were very well looked after, we stayed in a beautiful state room (ludlow) which was so full of character and history, very big room with hidden bathroom, views were beautiful too. Breakfast was minimal but of excellent quality. Would stay again.

This hotel is wonderful, the setting, the food, the general luxury, decore, the softest pillows I have ever had in a hotel BUT if you are at all disabled beware, there is no lift and very very steep stairs. They are dangerous to anyone who is not good on their legs And although the staff will take you bags to...

The restaurant at Ston Easton Park is listed separately, as the Sorrell (sic) Restaurant (which is actually an incorrect spelling). This review only covers our experience at the hotel; the restaurant has been reviewed separately. Turning off the always dangerous A37 into the park immediately gives a sense of peace, reinforced as the house comes into sight. While architectural purists...

We stayed in the garden suite with our dog which was fabulous, crispest linen sheets and dressing gowns that were like being hugged by a friendly polar bear. Arrived at lunchtime and enjoyed a delicious sarni, very reasonably priced then went to the cottage. Then we went for a lovely walk through the kitchen garden which was amazing as was...

Generally this place is amazing, we did the £199 Groupon deal, and I have to say, that is exactly what it is worth. The rooms are beautiful, the service is generally outstanding and the food is to die for. I'd say the full room rate and menu rates are way too hefty. My reason for 4 stars is that the...

We booked a one night stay with Secret Escapes which gave us a good choice of rooms. We went for a deluxe room on the first floor with beautiful views across the stream. The room was large and full of antique style furniture and the bed was very comfortable. A walk around the grounds is well worth while and a...

Room, food and service all very good. Only criticism is the lighting in our room was very limited - no good if you want to read in bed. Grounds are beautiful and the hotel is dog friendly so dog owners should add this to their list of places to stay. Limited choice for evening meal so if you are staying...

The building, service, welcome and room were all amazing here. We took up the £199 Groupon offer for 1 nights stay, afternoon cream tea, 5 course tasting menu and a full English breakfast in the morning and we felt we had excellent value for money. A couple of improvements include a few damp spots in the bathroom and some lamps...

This is the third time I have experienced afternoon Tea at this hotel and I must say it will be the last. Yes yes the setting is nice and a lovely house and gardens indeed. However, a simple afternoon tea I expect to be at least hot in the pot when it arrives and teapots that deliver the tea with...
