Stayed here for two nights recently when attending a family wedding. In fact, there were at least 6 other wedding guests staying at the same time, which was quite fun at breakfast on the Sunday! I was with my two children, and we were very comfortable in the Kendall Room on the top floor of the main house. Breakfast was... More

We've stayed at the Lynch Country house twice now and have been treated like family. The ladies who run this small individual B&B (which actually feels more like a hotel) can't do enough for you. The Georgian property stands perfectly in the manicured gardens, complete with a small lake and black swans. The rooms are individually decorated and furnished with... More

Lovely quiet and atmospheric small hotel. Staff really helpful and friendly. Lovely grounds. We were simply looking for a bed for the night while we attended a werdding but we found so much more! The conservatory, where we had breakfast was a lovely room.

Probably one of the best value high quality B&Bs around. More a hotel than a B&B but, as you would expect, without some of the former's (unnecessary?) facilities. The rooms are very well furnished, the beds are comfortable and in the case or our double in the coach house, suitably large. Excellent breakfast. Dinner is available at the White Hart... More

We very much enjoyed our brief stay here. Lynne gave us a warm welcome and was very informative about the area. We loved looking round this interesting house with its many antiques and paintings. The gardens are also beautiful. Breakfast in the orangery was a treat. Lynch House is well located for exploring Somerton on foot and is only 5... More

This hotel is a lovely period property and the rooms reflect it's age with lots of antique furniture, very comfy beds and all amenities. The grounds are beautiful, breakfast was plentiful and great quality and the staff could not have been more helpful.

My wife and I spent three enjoyable nights here. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The house is a beautiful Georgian mansion set in extensive grounds very close to the centre of Somerton. The location enables visitors to walk to local pubs in the evening without having to drive. The rooms are comfortable and full of charm. The choice of... More

Last minute booking as we were let down elsewhere, we recieved a warm welcome and allowed an early check in as we were off to a wedding. The breakfast was terrific and staff were very friendly. Delighted to recommend The Lynch

The Lynch Country House is quite simply perfect. The setting, the rooms, the staff, the breakfast.......everything is fabulous. My family stayed for my wedding and Lyn couldn't have been more helpful about organising the right rooms and catering for a gluten free family member. It just made the whole weekend a very relaxing and enjoyable affair. If you are thinking... More

We were given a room on the ground floor because I am disabled. The gardens were lovely, and our room had double doors opening onto a little patio with table and chairs. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly making our stay a real pleasure. The accommodation was nothing very special but clean, tidy and roomy, not... More
