This is the third time we have stayed at this delightful hotel. Anne greeted us on arrival and helped with our luggage before providing us with tea. There are only 7 rooms, all with good views over the Bristol Channel to the Welsh Hills on a clear day. Guests meet in the lounge for pre-dinner drinks and over coffee after dinner - more like a house party. Anne cooks delicious meals with a good choice and they are expertly served by Tim. All the tables are placed so that everyone has a good view.

We stayed 2 nights and it felt like we had joined a house party. The welcome and service was excellent, starting with tea and cake. The food was tasty and beautifully cooked, with Tim making you feel special. The bonus was the after dinner company, many were returning customers and conversations extended into the night.

This is a super small hotel run by the couple who own it and know how to put customer service first. We enjoyed and excellent night here on a recent trip to the South West. The hotel has a homely atmosphere with well looked after rooms and splendid views from the front facing ones. Dinner was very good, with a reasonable wine selection, but breakfast was excellent. It is now top of my list for the quality of the bacon and eggs of all the hotels that I have stayed in in over 40 years of travelling, both for work and pleasure. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We have just enjoyed another six fabulous days at this hotel. Anne and Tim are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble to make sure your stay is enjoyable in every way. The food is delicious (and everything made in house). The rooms are extremely comfortable and everything to a high standard. An 80 mile trip over Exmoor in Tim's MGB (which you can hire) was a great experience. Thank you Anne and Tim.
