We stayed overnight here on our trek on the Southwest Coast Path. Clean, comfortable and unpretentious. Great breakfast and welcoming owners made it perfect. We recommend it highly for anyone staying in Porlock (which is a great little town, don't miss the annual Carnival if you can be there for it).

Warm, friendly and helpful, spotlessly clean. Comfortable room, tea & coffee facilities, lovely hot shower, delicious cooked breakfast set us up for the day. Kindly gave us a lift to Porlock Weir to start our walk on day 2.

Two of us stayed for just one night (3/6/15). The bedroom & ensuite were exceptionally clean. The welcome was great and the couple, Linda & Michael, were friendly but not OTT and had information if wanted. The breakfast (we had full English) was just right and the selection available was huge eg fresh fruit, yoghurt, all cereals, orange juice, continental... More

We stayed here on the last night of our Coleridge Way walk and were pleasantly greeted and immediately made comfortable upon our arrival. The room and facilities were to a high standard with a lovely shower. Conveniently located in the centre of Porlock with easy access to all the pubs and restaurants. Recommended by me.

Excellent value for money, very clean and comfortable with a very good breakfast. No WiFi from room on top floor and parking a bit tricky when village is busy. We plan to return as we had a really comfortable stay in this welcoming B&B.

This property lies on a quiet road beside the church in the centre of Porlock, so all the amenities of the village can be reached in a five minute walk. I was using local bus services and the bus stop was only a few yards away. My room was clean and comfortable with a spacious en-suite. Breakfast was filling and... More

We stopped here when walking the South Coast Footpath. We were given a warm welcome and an excellent breakfast. The room overlooked the beautiful church of Porlock and the house is ideally located on a quiet road away from the main traffic. Furnishings were all new and the bathroom to a very high standard.

Currently rated 13 of 18 B&B's in Porlock. All I can say is that the quality locally must be high. Reines House is centrally located in Porlock, next to the church. The room I had was comfortable and tastefully decorated. I got a good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast next morning. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return... More

“Ask for a room at the front if you are a couple, they seem to be bigger though the prospect of tombstones may not be everyone's idea of a great view. You can park outside for free but don't leave it too late or all the spaces will be taken though you can use the pay and display two doors away and move the car first thing in the morning.”
