Such a charming , feel good factor awaiting a drink at the bar . Excellent , polite , friendly service from Dawn behind the bar . Dinner delicious. All in all an excellent establishment. Felt in the heart of Somerset with the large map on the wall on the entrance to the bar . Gents toilets immaculate .

This is a really lovely quiet hotel, tastefully decorated throughout with a good choice of formal and informal areas to eat. We choice the formal dining area which was spacious and comfortable. The choice of food at lunchtime comes from their bar menu which is a good variety of both hot and cold dishes with a good selection of puds...

Thank you for your positive review of our Restaurant, I have passed your comments on the Chef's, and Naomi who was looking after you when you visited. The kitchen team work extremely hard to produce fresh good quality food and they have been rewarded by gaining an AA Rosette. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Walnut Tree. We were very impressed with the standard of accommodation, the food and the very helpful and pleasant staff. The hotel is in a very good location, close to Taunton and Bridgewater and not far from the motorway. Despite being on a fairly busy main road, we were...

I was recommended the Walnut Tree by a nearby hotel that was full. It turned out to be a very good find and I shall definitely stay there again. It was an easy 2.5 miles from where I needed to be in Bridgwater. Access from the M5 Junction 24 is excellent. I booked a single room, 'room only', online for...

Plush lounge , friendly service lovely turkey with freshly roasted potatoes. Sometimes choice is limited in the evening if lunch was busy on a Sunday but well worth a visit. Will definitely be returning.

We called in for lunch just before Christmas. Despite the holiday season the service and food could not have been surpassed. A beautiful tastefully decorated dining room. No over-intrusive seasonal decorations. Peaceful and tranquil. Cheryl (I think) the wairess and serving at the bar could not have been more helpful and charming. The food was flawless for both courses and...

A warm welcome is assured at the Walnut Tree Hotel in North Petherton, Somerset. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is excellent (although portions are a little on the small side if you have a large appetite!). It is great to find somewhere where one is guaranteed to enjoy good quality food in a relaxed but casual/smart environment.

Lovely friendly staff.. whom from the booking to the arrival, where always polite and professional. The staff couldn't have been anymore helpful, friendly and genuinely concerned. I have been here on previous events and I must say it has been better previously. The food this time was just ok. It wasn't anything spectacular, the veg was under cooked, and several...

This was a package, two nights to cover the Bridgewater/Petherton carnival, November 2016. This was our third visit to see the carnival. The hotel offered a complete package to accommodate seeing the carnival, which takes approx. 2hrs plus to pass the front of the hotel. Super food, excellent friendly staff. Hotel standard maintained over the past three years we have...
