Found this lovely pub by accident last Saturday. It was a great spot to stop by for lunch and a break from a long road trip. It's a pity we had to leave as would happily have sat there all afternoon .

Loking for somewhere to stay for one night near Lyme Regis, I happened upon Five Dials, rated as superb or outstanding - it was both of these and more! Excellent room - clean, modern and well designed, the food was super. With a great menu choice, the owners and all staff were belpful and friendly. Couldn't fault it and I... More

Arrived here on Friday evening. Walked into a bustling and vibrant atmosphere, check in was quick and we were shown to our room straight away. Asked if there was a table free to eat and they found one for us. Lovely food and plenty of it. Our room was perfect as were on suite facilities and after a good nights... More

The Five Dials in Horton serves excellent food, much of which is sourced locally, a varied menu and is a popular, friendly pub. They also offer accommodation and, although I haven't stayed myself as I live in the area, I have heard very positive feedback from people who have.

We stopped here having seen it on tripadvisor. A simple lunch of sandwiches, coffee and a good pint of Otter (£3.00). Couldn't have been nicer. A very Warm welcome and I thoroughly recommend it. A Simple, tasty lunch of good food. The home made onion chutney was delicious.

We travelled up from Sidmouth, Devon (mid-week), to Horton Cross, Somerset to visit some friends who mentioned we should have supper at the 5 Dials before we drove back. Well, what a find! We were actually expecting to find a little local Inn serving the usual pub fayre. We were overwhelmed by the standard of 'pub grub' served to us.... More

As we were attending a family wedding locally we decided to book three rooms at The Five Dials. One for my husband and I, and a room each for our children and their partners. Our room was off the garden and had a small well equipped kitchen, bed sitting room and a bathroom with a shower. The other two double... More

My wife and I arrived at the Five Dials Inn at 5pm to a welcome by Sarah our landlady. Although I had stayed at the inn previously, it was the first visit for my wife but immediately she found herself at home. Sarah has a fine sence of humour that puts her guests at ease, not only is this refreshing... More

My wife and I ate at The Five Dials Inn on Wednesday evening 8th June. We had been recommended to this pub by the owners of our B&B. Unassuming from the outside, the interior of this local village pub is clean, bright and welcoming. When we arrived at about 6.45pm, the place was fairly quiet, but quickly filled up within... More
