Table booked via their Facebook page & was impressed with their friendly response. We were quickly & efficiently served with a smile. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our roast beef and choice of desserts. Dog friendly and warmly welcomed. Would certainly go again when in the area.

Visited on Friday evening as a party of four, have been here before and expected everything to be good - it was. Plenty of car parking spaces, good range of beer and cider on tap, I had Otter Bitter which was clearly well kept. We had booked a table which we were shown to quickly, this was in the rear...

Came here for lunch after seeing the other favourable reviews. Great food (especially the triple cooked chips). Warm welcome and friendly staff. Small children's menu but no children's pudding option-luckily our little girl had no problem managing an adult-size portion!

The food here is excellent. I was very impressed with the range of items on the menu and how quickly they brought out the food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome, even if you have a large group. The dining area is quite cosy, but that just adds to the whole, old, homely feel...

Had a lovely family Sunday roast. Bread was seeded and not ...... nice. But everything else was excellent. Delicious soup, which could only have been improved by a nice piece of bread. The roast itself was brilliant. Pink beef, big yorkie and superb accompaniments.

This a a lovely pub which is warm and welcoming. It has the feel of a local pub and it's great that they haven't lost the bar area for people to just sit and have a drink and a natter. There are lovely tables to sit and eat in the bar area and then there are tables tucked away from...

We have just returned from a superb meal. I had the skate and my husband the pheasant, absolutely fantastic We are just passing through and the meal has exceeded our expectations. One of the best meals we have had in a long time, and we were in London for three days two weeks ago. ..

Thank Mandy G
