Stayed 1 night here in "The Cabin", a standalone building just in front of the small lake, about 2mins walk from the main house (room service is available) it contains 2 en-suite bedrooms which each connect via an anti-room to the main open plan living area with full kitchen, stocked with eggs, bread etc.. & Nespresso machine. Lovely wood burner...

It didn't start well. I got the booking date wrong. We were going to drive down at lunchtime so we could relax all afternoon but I thought our booking was the following day. When I realised we shoved some stuff in a bag and drove there as quickly as possible (not easy on the A303). We arrived at 7pm, well...

We were a party of 11 with five children. Babington is well equipped to cater for children with a pool, both indoor and outdoor and a special children's den with supervision, allowing parents to chill out in the bars and lounges. The food was excellent and the snooker table was well used. The staff were eager to please and dining...

We had our annual cricket dinner at Babington House, as we are the cricket club that play there. We are so well looked after, it's privilege and an honour to play at Babington, but Andy Fisher the man in charge of us, really goes out of his way to ensure the food is excellent and the wine, beer and cocktails...

Our three night stay at Babington House was something very special. We stayed in one of the large rooms in the converted Cowshed. It had a large sitting room opening to the hotel garden, enormous bathroom with an array of spa products to test, and a loft bedroom. Bikes, umbrellas, and galoshes were at the ready for walks on the...

I've wanted to stay here for a while, absolutely beautiful, amazing location! We stayed in the Coach House which allows no children thank heavens! Please note this is a family hotel although at certain times children are banned from areas of the hotel, but still screaming kids outside does put you off some what, but that's because I gave none...

You won't enjoy Babington House if you only have one day, take three or four instead. Your soul is worth it. This property is brilliantly located in the countryside on an amazing piece of farm land. The staff is all superb and the accommodations are top notch. This is a great place for any occasion. Not one complaint.

Even before our arrival at the hotel, we were sent an email from Grace from the reception team. She welcomed us and asked us about our plans for our stay. Her pro-activeness is just one example of the amazing service provided at Babington House. We drove along a tree-lined path surrounded by darkness and the cold winter air. Perhaps, it...

We travelled as two couples, with our respective dogs, wisely deciding to leave the children at home with the grandparents, for a fun weekend away. We stayed in the split level Cowshed rooms overlooking the walled garden. The rooms were great and very comfortable, with a huge bed. They provide plenty of provisions to make it feel homely. The only...

My dear wife persuaded me to visit this hotel to break up a journey, and i'm glad she did. Try to avoid arriving during Sunday lunch service when the car park was bursting and we queued to get in (they do offer a valet parking service however, something to consider) Front desk is staffed by young bright things, and very...
