From the warmth of the welcome to the "turn down" service, this was a memorable visit. Lunch was light and delicious, afternoon tea was free and dinner was excellent, I can highly recommend the venison. The hotel was busy but efficient and walking the grounds helped with the high food intake. You should try and book a Walled Garden room,...

Having our wedding here tells you what we think of Babington! Having now tasted virtually everything on their menu I can say it's all jolly good food! Staff all go above and beyond for the guests and all set in beautiful grounds with an amazing spa with indoor and outdoor pool.

Four of us stayed for a couple of nights in the lodge which was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful hotel, so relaxed, staff so friendly especially Freya on reception. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and loved the ambience in the restaurant and bar. We took advantage of the complimentary afternoon tea and cakes which...

We thought we would have a mum and Dad only night away and whilst I realise that for the amount we spent here we could have got a weekend away in loads of other places I wouldn't trade it at all, it's worth every penny. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are stunning (better than pictures I feel) and the...

Location: A beautiful and peaceful countryside retreat. The hotel has beautiful surroundings and there are many walking routes available from reception. Check In: upon arrival, our car keys were taken and our car was parked for us. Our luggage was also delivered to the room. We were offered a tour of the facilities and then a seat in the quiet...

We stayed here in January as a get together with my son and his family plus my sister and her husband. Overall we had a great time, but be warned the rooms do vary, some are a little tired now and need an update. We stayed in one of the garden rooms. These are fabulous - on two levels, with...

We went for my birthday for one night. We loved the atmosphere, just like being at home but better and enjoyed the communal areas and the spa. The room and the bathroom were beautiful and the outdoor areas also lovely. The food was as you would expect. Not incredible but very good quality and enjoyable. In particular a great thing...

It didn't start well. I got the booking date wrong. We were going to drive down at lunchtime so we could relax all afternoon but I thought our booking was the following day. When I realised we shoved some stuff in a bag and drove there as quickly as possible (not easy on the A303). We arrived at 7pm, well...
