This hotel is in a beautiful setting for a start. Its also spacious, and well set out. The staff are extremely helpful and obliging and made us feel very welcome. A good night's sleep followed by an excellent breakfast. Recommended if you are looking for a romantic break and also a great central point for hikers / walkers etc. Wifi...

Dined here one Sunday lunchtime soon after it had changed ownership. I was not happy with the experience and rather than write a bad review decided I would revisit a few weeks later. This I subsequently did and what an amazing improvement. The service was quick and polished and the meal was superb, seven vegetables, and all courses presented beautifully....

A small hotel in a valley overlooking a lake amongst huge moutains. The beds are comfortable and warm in crisp white. Staff are very friendly and dinner was deliscious. A full breakfast is included in the price. Free wi-fi to lounge areas. Great value for money. Love this place.

My friend and I stayed a night whilst in the area photographing planes at the nearby Mach Loop, for which the hotel is ideally placed. We'd not booked and found the hotel as we were driving by. The reception team greeted us warmly and sorted us out a great deal on a family room for the night, £39 for two...

We stayed here for the night having dropped our son off at Aberystwyth University. We found the welcome to be friendly and the staff very attentive. We booked in for evening meal which was lovely. Breakfast was great with a choice of fresh fruit ,cereal, pastries and a delicious full English, scrambled egg and smoked salmon was also on the...

We called in for a light lunch last week to find the new owners have made huge improvements to what had been a faded hotel. Our lunch, taken sitting outside in the sunshine with an excellent view of the lake, was very good. Not cheap, but very fair value. We talked with several people who were staying at the hotel...

The old style charm that hangs over this small hostelry under new management will not disappoint. The cheery genuine helpful welcome throughout your stay lacks the overtones of so many other generic overnight box like stables. The team make you feel like you could lounge about watching rain, sun or sleet in equal pleasure (perhaps on the sane day!) throw...

I booked into the Tyn Y Cornel Hotel with my husband and our border collie for a dog friendly short break Wednesday 7th September to Saturday 10th 2016. Booking in was easy, we were greeted by the lovely Vicky, she showed us to our suite which was modern, comfortable and had a view of the lake with our own patio...

We had a lovely stay here with my family including our four legged furry member. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the food was good and reasonably priced also. The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Gary and Karl. Overall a great location for a nice country hotel, well worth a visit especially if you want to...
