This was the best place to såend my wife's Birthday, and I can only define the professional solution, food & company fantastic, the staff as always the best. Local Wifi does seem to have it's own mind, but sometimes that is good, we will be back. A perfect break.

From the moment I started to arrange our booking, I knew this was going to be a special place. The staff are all very friendly, the welcome was warm as were the Log fires. The food was some of the finest I have experienced in many years. The walking in the area was lovely and the overall atmosphere just helped...

I would just like to say a huge thank everyone at the hotel for a truly memorable day and evening. Words can’t express just how superb each element of your hotel is and to say this hotel is anything less than 5* is astonishing. From the lovely smiles that greeted us to the ‘Going beyond customers expectations’ which meant excellent...

Just returned from a lovely three nights at Pen-y-Dyffryn. Very comfortable room, great food and warm, welcoming staff. The location is fabulous and perfect for dog walking. We particularly enjoyed returning each afternoon to tea and scones in front of a log fire!. Definitely plan to return!

We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cream tea on arrival in the lounge by the fire was most welcome. Our room - Champagne - was large, two chairs with a view overlooking the garden and the bathroom was very well appointed with a Jacuzzi bath (not tried) and a separate power shower (very good). Towels...

We stayed in the Champagne Room - the best on offer. The room was furnished with antique pieces and the bed was comfortable if not a little soft. The sound insulation was not great; we could hear the goings on from the staff downstairs and guests coming in and out of the garden. The jacuzzi bath was a fun novelty,...

We stayed here for 2 nights with a dinner, bed and breakfast package. The hotel is very cosy, with open log fires and relaxed lounge atmosphere. The staff are laid back and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. There is a lot of information available regarding the local area, wildlife and local walks. The restaurant is very good, intimate...

A wonderful weekend break with friends, rooms very comfortable and clean, however on arrival the heating in our room was full blast and didn't need to be, it was a bit stifling. Great staff and service in the hotel & restaurant, but dinner too rushed on our second night. Not sure why as the first night was perfectly paced. Food...
